Spring events are picking up. We’re recruiting Welfare staff.

As the calendar starts to fill again, we’re adding to our Welfare roster for festivals and live events around Belfast. This is a paid role and no previous experience is needed.

Welfare is about people. Being the calm presence when someone is overwhelmed, unwell, or just needs a steady point of contact. You’ll be working alongside experienced clinicians as part of a wider on-site team, helping events run safer and supporting attendees in a respectful, non-judgemental way.

Full training is provided, including:
•⁠ ⁠First aid
•⁠ ⁠Safeguarding
•⁠ ⁠Drug and alcohol awareness

We are recruiting for paid Welfare roles to support festivals and live events around Belfast. This is a people-focused role, working as part of a wider on-site medical team to support event safety and look after attendees who may need help, reassurance, or a calm point of contact.

No experience is needed. Full training is provided, including:

We were really pleased to be invited along to the Eventsec NI Event Summit today, the first of its kind here in Northern Ireland.

It’s been great to see so many of the leading organisations who support events and festivals across NI in one place, from planning and production through to safety, security, medical cover and on-the-ground operations. When the right services are involved early, it makes a real difference to how smoothly an event runs and how well risk is managed.

We are opening applications throughout March for clinicians and event staff to join Paragon’s medical team.

We provide medical cover across Northern Ireland year-round, with a particular focus on building our roster ahead of a busy summer calendar. If you are experienced, professional, and comfortable working as part of a coordinated event team, we would like to hear from you.

We are recruiting for:
•⁠ ⁠FREC 3, 4 and 5 (or equivalent: FPOS, FROS, CMT)
•⁠ ⁠Technician and AAP
•⁠ ⁠Nurse
•⁠ ⁠Paramedic
•⁠ ⁠Doctor
•⁠ ⁠Event Controller
•⁠ ⁠Welfare Staff

All applicants for clinical roles must hold a valid BLS, ILS, or ALS certificate, and full training will be given for Welfare Staff.
Please note, we do not recruit First Aiders.

Male Urethral and Suprapubic Catheterisation 🗓️

This session is running next week on Tuesday 03 March, and it is a good one to get booked in for if catheter care is part of your role.

This course will equip learners with the skills they need to manage and insert Male Urethral Catheters, and Male and Female Suprapubic Catheters. It is a focused, practical session with space to slow things down, work through the process clearly, and ask the questions that do not always fit into a busy shift.
