Immediate Life Support (ILS) 27 October

Designed for those working in clinical environments, our ILS course refreshes and strengthens the skills that matter most. This blended format begins with an eLearning module followed by a focused half-day, in-person workshop on 27 October.

You will cover CPR, choking, AED use, the ABCDE approach, cardiac rhythms, airway management, use of airways, suction, medical emergencies, oxygen therapy and vital signs. All content is aligned with current Resuscitation Council UK guidelines.

An RCUK ILS manual will be posted to you before the course so you can review the key content ahead of time and arrive ready to put theory into practice.

Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) — 27 October

If you work in healthcare and support infants or children, this course helps you act quickly and confidently when it matters. The PILS programme runs in a blended format with an eLearning module followed by a focused half-day, in-person workshop on 27 October.

You will build practical skills in paediatric CPR and choking management, AED use and rhythm recognition, the ABCDE assessment for children, airway management including use of airways and suction, recognising medical emergencies, oxygen therapy and monitoring vital signs.

Accredited by the Resuscitation Council UK, this course strengthens real-world confidence for nurses, doctors and clinical staff across paediatric and general healthcare settings. Your RCUK PILS manual will be posted two weeks before the course date so you can review key content in advance.
