Advanced Life Support RCUK (eALS)

ALS is a specialist course for healthcare professionals who are expected to recognise deterioration, act early, and work effectively within a clinical emergency response.

The RCUK eALS course combines one day of e-learning with one day of face-to-face practical training, bringing the online learning into a structured environment of simulations, workshops and skill stations.

Across the course, candidates develop knowledge and skills in:

•⁠ ⁠Recognising and managing the deteriorating patient using an ABCDE approach
•⁠ ⁠Delivering standardised adult CPR
•⁠ ⁠Managing cardiac arrest as part of a multidisciplinary team
