Centre for Biomedical Sciences Education The degrees offer a well-knit programme of modules including human anatomy, physiology, pathology, immunobiology and molecular medicine etc.

The Centre for Biomedical Sciences Education delivers Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Science (accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science) and Human Biology The Centre for Biomedical Sciences Education delivers Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Science (accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science) and Human Biology. These degrees aim to train students for careers in modern biomedical science such as scientists within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry and also provide a sound basis for postgraduate study and careers in biomedical research. Many students use the qualification to gain entry to medical courses via the postgraduate route. Our staff teach gross anatomy, microscopic anatomy and physiology to undergraduate students studying for degrees in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Biomedical Science and Human Biology.

We're proud to highlight the incredible contributions of our students at this year's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences Education Forum, focused on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

From powerful oral presentations to thought-provoking posters, their work showcased critical thinking, creativity, and passion for creating a more inclusive educational environment.

Thank you to our presenter Nowran Nasr for speaking so eloquently and to Daniel Kennedy, Bisola Lateef and Emily Peirce for your posters and how you all continue to inspire us in the Centre. 🌍 They kicked off the Global Leadership Programme at The Cube in One Elmwood with two days packed with learning and inspiration!

Day 1 highlights:

βœ”οΈ A thought-provoking Sustainability Panel featuring Mrs. Sara Lynch, Prof. Michael Alcorn, and Mr. Kieran Minto discussing Queen’s Net Zero 2040 goal
