Mum & Baby Yoga comes to The Den! FRIDAYS 11am

Class includes yoga for you, some for baby, and some for the 2 of you together.

Come play and discover new ways of being together! There will be techniques for helping with baby’s wind, teething, and brain development, and ways to rebuild and get to know your postpartum body.

Baby is ready to do yoga from any age, but mum needs to be around 6 weeks post- birth.

And you can keep coming until baby is very mobile and would rather explore the room than do yoga.

If you would rather practice at home I have recorded classes online instead and it’s also 3 for £25.

Class is booked in a consecutive block of 3 on set dates, but if you know you can’t make a week, just pay for the weeks you intend to come as
unfortunately missed classes can’t be carried over.

We’re so happy to welcome Susan back to The Den this autumn ✨🍁🍂

Susan was the very first teacher to take up residence here when we opened our doors 4 years ago, and we’re delighted that she continues to share her cosy, beginner-friendly mat Pilates practice with us.

Her small, mixed-ability class offers a truly personal touch, with options to make movements more accessible or more challenging depending on your needs — and beginners are always welcome!

True self-care is not something that can be bought or found outside of us, it is a practice that begins within.

It asks us to slow down, to notice where we are holding too tightly and where we can soften. At times, it is about recognising when we need to do less, when rest is the medicine. Other times, it is about gently encouraging ourselves to step forward, to do a little more with presence and intention.

Self-care also requires honesty. It means acknowledging when we are wrong and allowing ourselves to change without falling into blame; of others or of ourselves. Forgiveness becomes an act of liberation, and vulnerability a doorway to connection.

Qualities like patience, kindness, and awareness do not appear overnight, but with practice, they shape how we meet ourselves and the world.

Through movement we release what is stagnant, through rest and recharge we renew our energy, and through connection we remember we are not alone.

This kind of care is not indulgence, but compassion in action. It is communicating with ourselves with clarity and tenderness, choosing presence over distraction, and cultivating awareness that allows us to live with more steadiness and less resistance.

From this place, true compassion can grow; not as a lofty idea, but as a daily practice of being human with gentleness and courage.

We would be honoured if you chose to practice with us at the studio and welcome you fully no matter where you are at on your yoga journey.

Come explore how your own voice can be a source of healing, calm, and connection.

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll be introduced to mantra, sound, and chanting as simple, accessible meditation practices. Together we’ll explore how voice and vibration can:

✨ Settle the nervous system & quiet the mind
✨ Ease stress and emotional tension
✨ Deepen your connection to body, breath & heart
✨ Open new pathways for clarity, expression & healing

What we’ll do together:
• Gentle movement & vocal warm-ups
• Learn about Nada Yoga & Bhakti Yoga traditions
• Experience group mantra chanting & sound meditation
• Time for reflection, sharing & integration
• Tea and light refreshments

No singing experience is needed — this practice is open to everyone.

The workshop will be led by Julie Preston: kirtan leader, vocal sound healing coach, and yoga teacher with nearly 30 years of practice. Julie has been guiding chanting and kirtan in Northern Ireland since 2011, helping people discover how sound and mantra can bring peace, joy, and connection — without pressure to perform or be perfect.

Over five weeks, explore the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga through breath-led movement, traditional asanas, mobility and movement mechanics. Each class is an opportunity to ground into your body, move with awareness, and build steady, supportive foundations for your practice.

Through mindful progression, you’ll discover a flow that feels both authentic and sustainable – leaving you more rooted, ready to rise with confidence and ease.

Led by Laura, these functional yoga classes blend vinyasa and mobility work to support stability, strength, and freedom in movement – both on and off the mat.
