This year’s theme, “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,” highlights the importance of supporting mental wellbeing during times of crisis. The Mental Health Foundation is focusing on how repeated exposure to news about conflict and disaster affects our mental health.
On this World Mental Health Day, your timelines will likely be filled with messages reminding us to care for ourselves and each other and that’s a good thing.....but what about the other 364 days of the year?
In times of uncertainty and instability, it’s vital that we move beyond awareness and take consistent, meaningful action. Make sure Your policies and procedures aren’t just written and in a folder but alive, active, and truly supporting the mental health of your teams all year round.
