A good friend sent me this quote a few weeks back and I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to post it.
Today it feels very appropriate to do so!
Over the past few days the light has been POURING in!
I've literally received HUNDREDS of private messages about my recent blog post. I want to thank each and every one of you who took the time to read it, it's been read over 2,000 times!! (my last one was read 33 times 😂🤦♂️).
My friends and family would tell you how bad I am at replying to messages 🙈, so you can imagine my overwhelm at trying to get back to you all. If I didn't reply to you or repost I apologise, I tried my best to get to everyone, but I want you to know how much I appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences with me! I even updated the article once or twice to reflect some of the sentiments you shared 💛
It was pretty emotional to hear what people have been going through. I heard stories from men, women, young people, old people, nurses, doctors, new mammys, fathers, teachers, mental health workers..the list goes on. The most amazing people in society being treated as outcasts. The impact this is having on their lives and their mental health is not to be underestimated.
When I entered my profession, never did I think I would be working in a society where we treat each other in this way. I'm in disbelief!
But on a positive note, there is still hope and love in the world and that was more than apparent over the weekend!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Continue to share far and wide!
It's now time for a day off the phone for me 😆
