This morning Katie Hoey has been discussing with farmers the economic impact of calf health issues such as diarhoea and pneumonia, plus the cost-benefits that can be achieved with elevated nutrition in the first few weeks of life. The focus is on getting the right amount of digestible energy into the calves from day one for optimal gut and immune system development.
