We are delighted to welcome Dr Alaa Sakr to the Belfast Skin Clinic team. Dr Sakr is a highly skilled medical doctor with extensive training in dermatology, aesthetic medicine and hair transplants.

Blepharoplasty is a surgery that removes loose skin or excess fatty tissue from your upper or lower eyelids. Lower blepharoplasties can reduce puffiness and wrinkling under your eye.
As you get older, you may notice changes to your eyelids as your skin begins to stretch and muscles weaken. This can lead to drooping of your upper eyelids, giving the eyes an older, tired appearance. Drooping or hooded eyelids can also affect your vision. Lifestyle factors such as smoking and excessive sun exposure may also increase your risk of drooping eyelids.
