Every scar tells a story.

Many of the women I meet through Scar Rehab Clinic have faced surgery, cancer, burns, trauma or illness. Their scars represent survival, healing and strength.

Scar therapy isn’t about hiding scars.
It’s about restoring comfort, movement, confidence and helping people live life beyond their scars.

Today we celebrate the resilience of women everywhere.

Huge thank you to our lovely clients for your patience — you’re the best 🤍

No, Santa didn’t bring me new eyebrows (still pencilling those on ✏️😂), and yes my immune system & neuropathy are still doing their thing… BUT 👀 I do spy some hopeful action on my scalp. Less shine, maybe more growth? I’m choosing hope.

Bodies are incredible. Healing isn’t linear. It’s not easy — but don’t lose heart.
To anyone on a similar road: I see you, I’m with you.

💚 Clinic Update – Christmas & New Year Closure 💚

Following an extremely distressing and emotional time for our family, Scar Rehab Clinic will remain closed over the Christmas period and will reopen in the New Year, slightly later than originally planned.

I want to share, with immense relief and gratitude, that my mum has been found safe.
What our family has experienced over the past days has been overwhelming, humbling, and deeply moving.

We cannot begin to express our thanks to family, friends, neighbours, and complete strangers who showed up without hesitation — including people who left their homes in dressing gowns, gave up their time, shared posts, searched, checked CCTV, and offered comfort.

Our sincere thanks also go to NI Search and Rescue and the Police Service of Northern Ireland, and to all the staff who looked after mum in Antrim Area Hospital.

The love, kindness, and humanity shown to us during such a frightening time has been extraordinary.
Thank you truly is not enough.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we take a little extra time to recover and reset as a family.
All existing clients will be contacted directly regarding appointments in the New Year.

Wishing you and your loved ones peace, safety, and kindness this Christmas 🤍

Scars aren’t just on the surface — they come with stories, strength, and a whole lot of courage. 💪❤️

Be kind to yourself as you go through this wild adventure we call life (some say “journey”… but adventure sounds way more fun 😄). Take it one step, one moment, one tiny victory at a time.

Look out for the little golden nuggets of joy —
in a loved one’s smile, a baby’s giggle, a dog being… well, a dog 🐶,
or the simple comfort of someone’s hand in yours.

None of us asked for scars, but here we are — stronger, wiser, and still finding reasons to laugh.
