FAQ Level 3 Award in First Responders on Scene: Emergency First Responder (RQF)

This qualification is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and understanding, to provide the appropriate care to a casualty.

This is a five day classroom based course, with home study and knowledge reviews.

This qualification is Category C on the FPHC PHEM Skills Framework:

During this training you will learn are different immobilisation techniques used in treating different injuries, the correct use of spinal boards and scoop stretchers to immobilise and transport a patient, advanced airway management, emergency oxygen use and how to work with a team to treat a patient.

The qualification is aimed at individuals who work or intend to provide immediate emergency care.

MCP First Aid Training will be running a three day training course covering Basic Life Support, AED, Airway Management, Oxygen Therapy, Ambulance Equipment, Moving and Handling of Patients, Life Changing Hemorrhage, Fractures, Spinal trauma etc .

This course is to provide new students who are interested in coming into the independent Ambulance Sector with the knowledge, Skills and Confidence to manage a medical or trauma emergency before they can progress into the pre hospital training modules.

Course dates: 2nd, 3rd, 4th Jan 26 (fully booked)
Course dates: 15th, 23rd, 26th Jan 26.

MCP Medical have the pleasure in providing medical coverage this morning in Belfast for the tartan parade which incorporates a variety of traditional Scottish dancers, performers and music.

We also have the privilege in deploying our ambulance motorcycle response unit to the event.
(The First in Northern Ireland).

It was with great pleasure that myself and the MCP Medical team had the opportunity to organize, plan and implement medical assisting to a lady who required medical repatriation back home from England to Northern Ireland.

I would also like to say a big thanks to the operations team, captain and all the crew of stenaline estrid for going above and beyond to make this trip as comfortable for the patient, patients daughter and transporting ambulance crew. Many thanks for your professionalism, gratitude and support.
