Caldwell Caldwell are an independent engineering firm providing MEP, sustainability, lift, fire, and BIM consulting services throughout the UK and Ireland.

Our MEP design consultancy offers a refreshing approach to building engineering and design advice. This integrated with our sustainability team is a fully collaborative approach to Mechanical Electrical and Public Health Engineering. On every project our aim is to create a dynamic working environment where the best minds in the industry flourish and deliver creative design solutions to clients and partner professionals. To cement the effectiveness of our collaborative approach to built environment engineering, the company's skill set encompasses multiple facets outside of the traditional scope of MEP engineering:

- We have extensive of experience of BIM and 3D Modelling, having spent the past 5 years working in Autodesk AutoCAD / CADduct MEP and Revit environments for clients such as British Land and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

- We provide a professional lighting design service for domestic, commercial, industrial, display and feature applications, supported by a team of dedicated lighting designers proficient in the industry's latest modelling software. As a fully independent knowledge resource, we are not linked or affiliated with any one manufacturer or supplier and can provide unbiased, cost effective solutions which preserve client concern.

- Caldwell provides specialist advice on all Sustainability and Environmental matters.Caldwell are quailifed to provide BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessor services for all the recognised UK new build schemes available. We can also provide the services of a BREEAM AP and regularily lead projects in role of project ‘Sustainabilty Champion’.

- Process engineering focuses on the design, operation, control, and optimisation of both the process and the environment. We can use our proven building services skills to enhance the co–ordination, cost efficiency and functionality of the manufacturing facility. These include work flow, transport of materials, automation and plc controls, as well as a combined ability to co–ordinate and integrate key suppliers.

- Caldwell Lift Consulting operates passenger and good traffic simulation. We provide advice on all forms of vertical transportation including lifts, escalators, moving walkways, permanent access equipment and disabled access equipment. We develop long term relationships with our clients by partnering closely with them. Clients tell us they value our capability to engineer practical and cost effective solutions that meet project requirements and customer expectations. Because our lift consultants work directly with the manufacturers, suppliers, installers and contractors, clients also benefit from cost and time savings and achieve consistently high quality project outcomes.

- Project management; specialising in engineering led project delivery we have a team of engineers delivering private and public sector schemes at the highest levels of complexity. This project management service includes cost control, quality control and end user liaison. Projects include fire engineering remedial work, refurbishment, heating replacement, rewiring, and disability adaptations.

- Acoustic and Fire Engineering; Caldwell can provide the specialist services of fire and acoustic engineering with one of our closely allied partnering companies.

Caldwell Consulting Engineers Ltd are delighted to be part of the Woodvale Lowry Joint Venture Team acting as a Consultant for the M&E design on the groundbreaking Strule Education Campus, working alongside Semple McKillop.

Other Caldwell Group companies, BPP Ltd and CCM Ltd, will also be involved delivering energy modelling, BREEAM Assessor and Commissioning Management services.

The Strule Campus is a £375m pioneering project set to open in September 2028 that will deliver state-of-the-art shared centre of learning with six core schools (five post-primary and one special school) and associated shared education facilities on a 125 acre site in Omagh, to cater for the needs of more than 4,000 pupils.
