☺️Yesterday I had one of those lovely moments that stays with you.
A little robin appeared at the start of a walk with a friend. I remember saying, “I’d love to take a photo, but they never stay still long enough.”
We walked by the river, talked, had coffee and on the way back, another robin sat on a tree and waited. She stayed long enough for me to take photos, and then even came closer. I crumbled a biscuit I had in my pocket, and she flew down and took it from my hand several times. It felt really special
Later, out of curiosity, I looked up the symbolism of robins in my spirit animal books. It spoke about letting go of what’s become outdated or stagnant, planting seeds for the new year, and sharing the song you carry inside you. It felt especially timely, being the first week of a new year.
I don’t take these things as answers, more as little moments that make me stop, think, and wonder. And if they help me pause or feel more settled, then that’s great.
If you have an animal that keeps showing up for you and you’re curious about its symbolism, I’m happy to look it up and share what it represents 🤍
