Happy Imbolc, first day of Celtic Spring 🌱🌞 Joy did spring in my heart when I saw these yellow crocus flowers in my garden this morning! I've been revelling in seeing snowdrops and primroses coming out ...but these particularly lifted my spirits as they reminded me of the sunnier days to come! 🌞🌱✨✨ .

The 1st of February is also St Bridgid's day. St Bridgid was known for her compassion for all. 🤗

So today, I'm celebrating nature and all the compassionate people out there who are doing wonderful things to make our world a better place! 💚🤍🌱✨🤗✨

I hope that you experience something which gives you a " spring" in your step today! 😊

Worth reading both the poem and the grounding advice from Fiona Earthmonk . There is plenty to despair or rage about at the moment... But plenty to fill you with hope and joy too. 😊✨✨✨

This is such a good point I wanted to share it with you. The world is a dark and unstable place at the moment. But as Karen Salmansohn rightly says at the same time the world is burning it’s also blooming.

There is a contradiction between reading devastating headlines and then seeing a rainbow or laughing with friends.

Karen calls it the dual citizenship of being alive. The human condition has always had the extremes of pain and joy, tears and laughter, despair and hope, love and heartache. The world has always challenged us to have to hold these complexities but it’s certainly ramping up now more than ever.

As the post advises it’s okay to experience all these varied emotions. To embrace and accept everything you’re feeling in any given day with no judgement or criticism.

I’d add on that staying grounded makes this process of “letting it all in” and flow easier. When we are grounded in our bodies we have greater cohesion, agency and power.. When we are grounded we can process complex emotions with greater ease. When we are rooted there is an inner connection and anchor that makes flexibility and flow easier.

So simple grounding techniques include:

• walking in nature
• meditation / visualisations
• breathwork
• movement that helps us connect with our bodies
• being barefoot on the soil, grass, sand or ground (or imagining we are barefoot)
• hugging trees or leaning up against them
• any practice that helps us connect with nature and the rhythm of the natural world

Hope those help. But do share your ideas below.
With love

Are you looking for a peaceful world? Begin by finding your inner calm. ♥️✨

19/01/2026

Let there be peace on earth—and let it begin with me...
Not with someone else. Not somewhere distant. Not when circumstances are perfect or the world finally changes.
But here. Now. With me.

Peace begins the moment I return to my breath—that quiet, sacred rhythm anchoring me in the present. It begins when awareness enters my daily life: how I move, how I choose, how I show up in the simplest moments.

Let peace begin in the way I speak to myself when I fall short. In the pause I take before reacting. In the kindness I choose when patience feels thin. In the forgiveness I offer when holding onto pain feels easier.

Let it begin at home, in the gentleness I offer those closest to me.
Let it reach my community, through compassion extended to friends, strangers, and even those I do not understand.
Let it live in my daily choices—to respond with curiosity instead of judgment, with love instead of fear.

We often look outward, waiting for the world to become peaceful. Yet the truth is both simpler and braver: the world softens when we do. Peace grows when we take responsibility for what we carry—or fail to carry—within our own hearts.

One mindful breath creates ripples.
One aware person changes their corner of the world.
A peaceful family becomes a refuge.
A peaceful community reshapes a neighborhood.
And slowly, quietly, persistently, peace moves from me to we, and from we to all.

Let there be peace on earth.
And let it begin with me—with my breath, my thoughts, my words, my actions, my presence.

This is not passivity.
This is courageous, living practice.

The Walk for Peace is a reminder that peace is not just an idea—it is something we live with every step. Each step taken in awareness, each breath matched with intention, each mile walked in silence or prayer becomes a commitment to peace in action. As we walk, we carry peace through streets, villages, and hearts, allowing our presence to speak where words are not needed. This is how peace moves—one step, one breath, one being at a time.

May you, and all beings, be safe, happy, and at peace. 🙏

Monks have walked for peace over the centuries. Particularly in troubled times, or in places which have suffered difficulties. Their presence is a reminder to show peace and compassion in our own lives. It's worth reading about " sadhu" below and knowing that we can spread hope, Joy and peace ourselves. We can find and offer calm in a troubled world. Love, light and blessings to all. 🤗🥰✨✨✨

✍️ Everyone may have heard the word “sadhu” (pronounced SAH-too) spoken along the path of our journey.
This is a traditional word used to praise someone when they do good merits, perform good deeds, or engage in wholesome actions. It’s a way of saying “well done,” “how wonderful,” or “may this goodness continue”—but it carries something deeper than simple approval.

When we say “sadhu,” we are not just acknowledging someone else’s goodness. Something beautiful happens within us as well. The good deeds of peace bloom in our own minds because we feel genuine happiness and joy witnessing something good and beautiful in the world.

This is the power of appreciation—it multiplies goodness. When we recognize kindness, when we celebrate compassion, when we honor wholesome actions with our words, we are not passive observers. We become participants in that goodness. We water the seeds of peace in our own hearts by rejoicing in the peace we see in others.

So when you hear “sadhu” spoken, know that it is more than praise—it is a shared joy, a mutual celebration, a recognition that goodness exists and deserves to be honored. And when you say “sadhu” yourself, whether aloud or silently in your heart, you are planting seeds of happiness within yourself, strengthening your own connection to what is good and true.

Sadhu to all who practice kindness. Sadhu to all who choose peace. Sadhu to you, for being part of this journey in whatever way you can.

May you and all beings be well, happy, and at peace. 🙏

Thanks to all who came to my vision board sessions yesterday! It was wonderful to see how people were able to use their innate creativity and follow their intuition to find their future focus!

It was also just good to have a chance to chat together whilst creating the boards.

In a broken world... be the glue!! 💔💓💕✨✨. Donna Ashworth 's words are perfect for our times! 🤗🥰
Where there's despair shoo it away by bringing in hope and kindness 🤗. Start by thinking of anything which you're grateful for and let it lift your heart. Then continue to spread your love and lightness to others. Even small acts of kindness, like a smile, can make someone's day. 🥰😊🌟✨✨✨✨

Happy Winter Solstice to all! As the sun appears to stand still for a short time, a celestial pause....you can take time to reflect on the year just gone. Think of all the times you have to be grateful for, what were your highlights? What people could you thank for being in your life.... perhaps because they were there in the difficult times, or because they just helped make happy memories with you?

Good to know that the days will gradually be getting lighter and brighter from now on! But in the meantime, enjoy having some cosy times inside, or seeing the wonder of the stars and the moon and the festive lights, when you are out and about. Best solstice wishes to all. 🌜🌟✨✨✨

The magic behind Half Moon Holistics

A warm welcome to you! : 0 )

Half Moon Holistics launched on 19.11.19 ... a date that serendipitously turned out to be a Half Moon! It is happy little coincidences like that which have made it clear why the room was meant to be! So how can it work its magic for you?

Do you know that you are made of mind, body and soul?

We are very aware of how to help our minds grow ( or decline!) through reading books, looking at articles, watching TV, endlessly scrolling through our phone feeds. We know how to help our bodies grow ( sometimes too much!) taking exercise, eating and drinking, through going to the gym, etc. But do we ever think what our souls need to grow?
