I have 3 workshops that I'm scheduled to teach over the next few months and here's the first! This is teaching how to do Energy-Healing ... everyone can do it and has "healing hands" even if they think they can't and they haven't! It's a natural gift we all have .. and it's really powerful to help your self, and others too. I have been teaching Quantum-Touch for around 10 years and it's never ever boring .. it's always energising, and always there is space for learning more from the syllabus itself and from my students too. There are 2 days in person learning at my therapy room in Belper, and 1 day online. If you've always been interested in energy work but never thought you could do it .. get in touch! Today I am mostly catching up on some essential admin in my office. Never ceases to amaze me how LONG it can take just to update a few records, do a bit filing, and send a few emails. I think I need a few more Office Systems. Therapist friends .. can you relate?!

Dr David R Hamilton PhD always puts a lot of research in to his work .. and when you meet him in person, he just oozes wonderful, high vibrational, uplifting, joyful energy. His book "The 5 side effects of Kindness" is a great read .. and fascinating! So I'll be following this from 13th Nov onwards .. how about you too?

Would you like to take part in the 21-Day Kindfulness Experiment?

It starts on Wednesday, November 13th, which also happens to be World Kindness Day. It’s completely free.

The plan is that I’ll be sending out a short β€˜kindfulness’ meditation practice each day, plus a short video (2/3 minutes) encouraging some thinking or reflection on kindness.

And it’s an β€˜experiment’ because we’ll be measuring happiness, connection, and wellbeing, before and after the 21 days.

The aim is to see if a 21-day focus on kindness, even a wee bit, can make people feel happier, more connected, and improve overall wellbeing.

What is kindfulness? It’s two things:

Kindfulness as a meditation practice is any mindfulness-based practice where at least part of the focus is in the direction of compassion or kindness.

Kindfulness in life is simply to be mindfully kind in how you interact with people.

Just recently taught a Level1 workshop in -Touch level 1 energy healing for students who attended the first half in-person at my therapy room near home in .. (so nice to use my own space, btw, and not have to hire a separate venue!) where they got a real hands-on healing experience, all of us practicing together .. and then we completed the workshop with an OnLine class a week later, so all the students had time to practice the basic technique between time. It worked really well in that format .. and it's always a delight to teach QT. Every student brings their own uniqueness to the workshop, and even tho I use the same instructor syllabus each time, I just get fresh insights every single time!
My next energy healing Workshop is scheduled for December this year. Everyone has healing hands (oh yes they do!!) and QT is a wonderful way to discover your own natural healing skills .. and how to use it for you own healing, and helping others too 😍😍😍 and I have no idea why I always end up writing such long posts!!! 🀣🀣🀣

Coming up to International Stress Awareness Week 4-8Nov, I thought this post I spotted lately on LinkedIn was exceptionally good.
We probably do already know most of this stuff, don't we, but its a bit of a different perspective seeing the focus on benefits specifically for our Brains.
I was most surprised at #7 on multi-tasking. I'd have thought just the opposite. But its a bit like having a naughty puppy that you might think needs more exercise to quieten it down, when in fact, it needs more sleep!!

I'm really delighted to be supporting Universal Services for Carers in Derby by hosting a workshop on Sat 9 November that will help both Carers and Cared For reduce stress and improve wellbeing, as part of their initiative. I really love the work this non-profit organisation is doing. I also believe that "Tapping Technique" (EFT: Emotional Freedom Technique" is one of the most practical and powerful self-help tools in my "therapy tool kit" and it's something anyone can easily learn and use to help with stress and anxiety in a multitude of different situations. Really looking forward to running this workshop. Please do let any friends or family who are either Carers or Cared For know about this organisation if they haven't already heard of it! We can all get grouchy, grudgy, resentful and blamey. But .. at the end of the day .. those feelings might make you feel justified in some way, but they also make you feel crappy - and they take a lot of energy to hold on to! Can you let them go? And if so when? Could you do it Now?

So last weekend, I was doing my festival therapist thing at The Energy Orchard at Off The Tracks at Castle Donington in my pop-up therapy tent.
Off The Tracks Festival is really friendly and has a great vibe I think about 80% of my bookings were my "regulars" who visit the festival year after year to enjoy the bands, the bars, the food and .. of course, a bit of health, healing & relax time. Surprising how well you can relax next to an airport and a racetrack ..
But it happens!! 😍😎😍
