What a lovely afternoon for a walk! 🌞🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Today, Barbara, Suzanne and Geoff, along with Rachel and Kirsty, enjoyed a wonderful walk from our home all the way to Duffield — an amazing 1.4 miles! 👏

Once we arrived in Duffield, everyone enjoyed choosing a delicious cream cake from Birds to take back home for tea 🍰☕ After all that walking, they were certainly well deserved!

To finish off the day, we caught the bus back home after a lovely outing together 🚌

Another lovely morning at our Memory Café today at Milford 💛

We were delighted to see such a great turnout again this month – it’s always so special to welcome you all. Today’s activity was bingo, and it brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition along the way!

A big thank you to Suzanne and Barbara for helping to run the cafe, and to Ruby for doing a fantastic job calling the bingo numbers – you all helped make the morning run so smoothly.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it another success. Your support and enthusiasm mean so much.

We’re already looking forward to next month happening on Wednesday 3rd June, where we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane with a talk on the history of Milford House and the surrounding area 🏡🧠

🚌 A Lovely Day Out 🛍️☕

Rachel took Joyce on a trip by bus into Belper, where they popped into Morrisons for a bit of shopping and enjoyed a cuppa in the café.

Rachel shared, “We laughed all morning and nattered each other’s ears off. What a pleasure my job is.” 💛

It sounds like a wonderful outing filled with great company and plenty of smiles!
