🎊HAPPY 23 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO ME🎊

23 years ago TODAY I opened my very first Slimming World group down at the community centre in lower Belvedere. I was so nervous I could barely speak, didn't have a clue what I was doing but carried on regardless ....

Fast forward to now and I just want to thank every single member who has come my way over the years (and that's thousands) and to every member who has reached their dream weight (and that's hundreds) as you have made my career so very worthwhile and meaningful.❤️

I am as passionate today, even more so really, and love to see the smiles, health, confidence and glow that weight loss brings. I truly hope I can continue to do what I love for as long as possible, despite the weight loss drugs revolution! There are so many faces who haven't returned but, I'm forever hopeful🙏

✨️✨️ Meet our Members - DENISE, over 3 stones lighter ✨️✨️

7 months ago I made the best decision to join Slimming World. I decided my target weight right at the beginning and now I am nearly half way there. I honestly don’t think I would have achieved this without staying to group. The support from Jan my consultant is great, every week she provides the group with so much advice on all aspects of our slimming world journey. I have experienced so much inspiration from my group! I have found it beneficial listening to everyone’s tips and advice.
I must admit the journey has been hard at times but I have also enjoyed it, from learning all about food optimising and receiving all the milestone rewards which is just one of the tools to keep you motivated.
I feel so much better in myself already, both physically and mentally .

So, tell me - How many times have you said?

1 I’ll start on Monday ❤️
2. I’ll start tomorrow ❤️
3. I wish I’d stuck to it this week ❤️

5. I wish I never left the group ❤️
6. It's nearly May, where have the last four months gone?❤️

We still have a good 11 weeks before the summer holidays, instead of saying all of the above, how about in July you say,

1 I’m so glad I started in April ❤️
2. I’m so glad I didn’t wait for the 'right' time❤️
3. I'm so glad I was brave enough to return because life got in the way❤️
4. I’m so glad I stuck with it the first week, the weeks that followed that turned into months❤️
5. It’s July and I feel great having lost a stone and a half ❤️ this is is possible ❤️

Caught up with my bestie last night! In past times, I would have been hitting the bottle of red real hard and just over consuming everything! It's hard to make the changes in my social life but a mindset shift has to happen to lose and sustain weight loss! I didn't feel like I was missing out - and my bestie made sure she didn't sabotage me. Oh and I had a GU salt caramel pudding for 15.5 swips to 'indulge'. Out again today, but still hoping for a weight loss of some sort on weigh day🙌
