Looking for the first signs of spring at this time of year can really lift your mood. This morning I recorded two woodpeckers communicating with each other in the woods readying themselves for mating season. That strange time of year between Christmas and the New Year. A time for contemplation. A time to reflect on what has passed and what is yet to come. A time to set your intentions and rid yourself of what’s been holding you back. Don’t take what’s not aligned with your best self into this new year. Take a deep breath and go for it. Life is for living not just existing. Surround yourself with those that lift you up and put yourself first. You can’t feed others if your vessel is empty. .
