What a truly lovely day it was today and what better way to spend it than enjoying a gentle stroll around our beautiful garden.
Today’s walk gave us all of that and more.
As we wandered along the paths, we stopped to look at the fish in the pond and smell the magnolia tree in full bloom, we see a few rabbits in the farm next door and a tiny ladybird took a particular liking to one of our residents, settling on her hand. We even spotted a plane way up in the sky.
There’s something incredibly special about being outdoors, especially for our residents. Fresh air, natural light, and the simple pleasure of being surrounded by nature can lift spirits, spark conversation, and create moments of calm.
Time outside supports wellbeing in so many ways from boosting mood and reducing stress to encouraging gentle movement and connection with the world around us.
