A huge thank you to everyone at Bowland View for your amazing fundraising efforts 🎄💙

Our residents have been busy selling Christmas cards, raffle tickets and generously donating, thanks to their hard work and generosity, have raised £142.28 for St John's Hospice, £240 towards memory Memory Wheelchairs, and £32.75 for Wellbeing of Women

We’re so proud of what our residents and team have achieved together, and grateful to everyone who supported these wonderful causes. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference! 🙏✨

This is Barbara from Age UK North Craven who visits Bentham Community Library on the first Wednesday of every month from 9.30 am - 12 noon.

She offers free, confidential and impartial information and advice for older people, and can support with a wide range of issues, including your rights, local services, benefits, housing, property issues, health and social activities.

Barbara's in this Wednesday (4 November) and would love to meet you - pop-in for a chat or a brew!

🌟 This morning’s charity coffee morning was a wonderful success! Together, we raised an amazing £145.20, which will be shared equally between two charities: Memory Wheelchairs and St John’s Hospice

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, donated, and joined in – your support means so much. 💛 We hope you enjoyed the morning as much as we did, and that these funds help both charities continue their incredible and valued work. ☕✨

Calling all budding bakers, cake lovers and kitchen creatives – it’s time to show off your skills in our amateur baking competition, open to residents, family, friends, carers and the wider community!

🏵️ Rosettes awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category.

📅 When: Monday 10th November 2025
⏰ Judging at 11am, followed by a warm and welcoming Coffee Morning

✨🦆 Duck-date 🦆✨

Our lovely ducks have officially settled into their brand-new home, and they couldn’t be happier. With plenty of space to waddle, splash, and quack about, they’re already making themselves right at home. 🏡💦

It’s wonderful to see them enjoying their new surroundings – and we’re sure they’ll bring lots of smiles to everyone who visits. 💛
