Yoga in the rain
A few beautiful dedicated souls showed up for a breath taking yoga session in the rain today. The sound of the rain drops amplified in the stillness of the woods while we flowed through a grounding sequence. We gave gratitude to the mighty oak for protecting us.
Sometimes we just have to show up, we may forget some of the gorgeous sunny sessions we have done, but we will never forget this one!

"Let the rain be your companion as you step onto your mat. Just as it falls without hesitation, let your presence in yoga be unwavering, regardless of the weather. Embrace the raindrops as reminders of life's impermanence, and flow through your practice with a heart open to both the sun and the storm."

Beautiful afternoon in the sun picking camomile. Camomile tea is known for its calming effects, promoting relaxation and reducing stress and anxiety. Its natural sedative properties can help improve sleep quality, making it a lovely choice for those seeking a good night's rest.

Foraging for camomile allows you to immerse yourself in nature, enjoying the fresh air and the delight of discovering these delicate flowers. The act of foraging itself can be a meditative experience, encouraging mindfulness and grounding you in the present moment.

Furthermore, camomile tea is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that can support the immune system and aid digestion. Regular consumption may help alleviate stomach discomfort and promote a healthy gut.

In addition to its health benefits, foraging for camomile is an environmentally friendly practice!
If you would like to join me for an outdoors yoga session we are meeting on Tuesday 25th 1pm in Ashridge, contact me for more info -

Last week of term and we have been exploring parighasana, in our Monday morning classes. Parighasana, or Gate Pose, is a yoga pose that symbolises self-empowerment. The teacher guides you to the gate, but you must walk through it yourself. It represents taking responsibility for your journey, embracing change, and finding strength within. Like in life, mentors can provide guidance, but growth happens when we courageously step forward on our own path. Parighasana serve as a powerful reminder that, like a gate, life presents us with opportunities to grow and evolve. Embrace the guidance of others, but ultimately, take responsibility for your own journey, walking through each gate with mindfulness and courage, discovering the treasures that await you on the other side.
All classes start back in sept but if you would like to join me in some outside yoga in Ashridge message me and I will add you to the group Sally x
