Louise Hutchings has practised yoga for over twenty five years. She has been teaching for 11years. As a child, her inspiration and interests were dance and movement.She gained a scholarship to train at the London school of contemporary dance at "The Place "and continued to study with different teachers and choreographers. Evenchally she discovered yoga through her first inspirational yoga teacher

Fracis Houlahan and experienced the physical, emotional and a gentler strength of movement which, energised, relaxed and healed. Louise went on to train with The Yoga for Health foundation, The British wheel of yoga and pregnancy yoga, with Uma Dinsmore Tuli at Yoga Campus and post natal yoga with Birthlight. She has practised and trained with many different teacher and styles of Yoga. Louise classes are fluid and flowing, working with rhythm of breath and movement. She encourages students to honor the inner teacher within them selves, focusing on alignment and positive mindfulness, bringing a deeper awareness and understanding to their practice. Louise continues to learn and explore through her love of yoga and teaching, though workshops and training in yoga

A new six weeks Pregnancy Yoga course begins next week on Monday 16th of February.

Come and join your local Pregnancy Yoga group.

We meet up every Monday 6:30 7:30 pm.
This class which is especially designed for pregnancy is a complete yoga practice consisting of warmup, postures movement,, breathing relaxation and meditations, visualisations, positive intentions statements and much more.

Classes are held at Carmenta Life in Berkhamsted.

Pregnancy yoga post Christmas 🎄
Christmas is fast approaching but babies don’t have a concept of time or seasonal celebrations they arrive on their birthdays! Did you know that 10% of babies are born before their expected due date EED , 5% on the day and 85% after.
Wherever you are on your Pregnancy journey I am thrilled to be offering some extra classes in the run up to Christmas.

In this Christmas Pregnacy Yoga short course we will be exploring various Yoga based movements to facilitate ease within the body. Incorporating breath and movement and experiencing positive effects of these practises.
We will be revisiting breath awareness, visualisations and bringing some new meditations, relaxations and Hypnobirthing into the sessions.

These Mamas are taking a moment To Be with themselves and their baby’s, nothing is expected of them other than to bring awareness of their inner world checking in to how they are feeling, as well as checking in and attending to their babies too.

Allowing, acceptance, love and being compassionate to oneself through relaxation and meditation sends signal to the brain and leads to a healthy emotional regulation. Positive hormones such oxytocin’s the hormone of love and dopamine the feel good hormone flood into the brain sending those lovely feel good messages to the body. When mother’s have the opportunity to practise this self care we bring positive energy into our whole body and mind

In our supportive group of postnatal mothers you will be taking the first steps in recognising how incredible your body is, how amazing your body heals and strengthens naturally but also with support from a qualified postnatal yoga teacher teacher.

Come and joins me in the comfort of a private studio at Life where you are seen, heard, nurtured through the practise of yoga, and where the support of your mummy tribe are right with you
