As you are planning a very special day in your lives you need to be confident that you are guaranteed a ceremony that is totally bespoke to you - created and based upon your lives and love story. Originally trained as a Psychologist and with extensive, corporate business experience, Susan at Beautiful Ceremonies offers creativity, warmth and understanding, combined with calm, professional experience. Your ceremony will be unique just as you are a unique couple. You choose exactly what is included in your wedding or civil partnership ceremony; unlike Registrar-led ceremonies, there are no restrictions upon time, place, length or content. Your choice may be a Humanist wedding ceremony that celebrates the goodness and equality of men and women; or, you may be planning a civil partnership or converting a civil partnership to a marriage, but are concerned that the Registrar-led ceremony will not meet your specific, celebratory needs. Together, we plan your wedding or civil partnership ceremony without any rules or restrictions because we ensure that the legalities are dealt with separately. This means that you do not have to be concerned as to whether a venue - outside or inside - has been licenced. If you want to marry in your favourite restaurant or a castle but it does not have a licence you can .... Or at home - you can. On a boat or by a stream or in a foreign land - you can. Susan has officiated ceremonies in all such venues and, with excellent professional relationships with venues and other wedding suppliers, is able to save you time and stress in your planning. Our aim is to quickly provide information and solutions so that your experience is fantastic rather than frantic. The legalities are dealt with in advance of (or sometimes after) the ceremony. You will be provided with all information about legal requirements in the UK or in any other country; this will be validated, government-sourced detail. We start off by meeting (in person or on Skype) for me to understand exactly what you are seeking to achieve; this is a no-cost, no-obligation consultation. Once you are happy, Susan then plans, writes and officiates the ceremony - you can ask for as many changes or edits as you wish. She will make suggestions as to content, such as music, poetry or rituals, but the decision is totally yours. Our promise to you is that it will be personal, memorable and beautiful.
