15 TODAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Wow, can't believe I've been in my room with the view for 15 years. Remember my first day clearly..it was heavy snow and I was so nervous no one would show up! Made £50 and went home chuffed to bits 😂
Lots of amazing years have followed, and I'm proud to say my little business has grown from strength to strength. I'm so lucky to work with such a great group of ladies and have such wonderful and loyal customers...💕

🦶 A callus is a thickened and hardened area of skin that forms due to repeated friction, pressure, or irritation. On the sole of the foot, hard skin often develops in areas where there is excessive pressure or rubbing, such as the ball of the foot, the heel, or under the big toe. Do you suffer with this?! 🦶 What is a Corn? 🦶a common question!

A corn on the foot is a small, thickened area of skin that forms due to repeated friction or pressure, found on the toes or sides/sole of the foot. They are hard and may have a dense center surrounded by inflamed skin. They develop as a protective response to prevent skin damage, often caused by tight or ill-fitting shoes, prolonged standing, or specific foot shapes that create pressure points. There are two main types of corn.

Hard corn - Usually small, dense, and appear on the bony areas of the toes or sole of the foot.

Soft Corns - Found between the toes where they stay moist and appear rubbery.

Corns if left untreated can be really painful. Do you suffer? Send me a message or give me a call! Removing a corn really is painless. I promise!

💫💞Long and partially soppy post alert 💞💫

Always like to take a moment at the end of the year to wish all my customers a merry Christmas and a great new year...and to say a massive thank you for all your continued support and custom over this last year. Some of you have now been a customer of mine for 20 years!! How did that happen! I genuinely do appreciate the ongoing support and loyalty you show me...it honestly means the world
And on a more personal note... Coming to work and into my little room with the view has been like a sanctuary this year...thank you for all the words of encouragement, hand squeezes, hugs, cakes, flowers, friendship and kindness...its blew me away at times and has helped me endlessly. Listening and sharing stories with you all is a true privilege and I feel very fortunate that I get to say that about my 'work'

🦶What is a Verruca?🦶

A verruca (plantar wart) is a wart on the foot caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They commonly occur on the soles of the feet and toes. Verrucas can be contagious and spread to other people through direct person-to-person contact.

When the skin gets very wet it loses its suppleness and flexibility, which can cause tiny cracks and splits to occur. These breaks in the skin make it easier for the verruca virus to pe*****te the skin. This happens through direct skin-to-skin contact, or indirect contact with contaminated surfaces. The verruca virus thrives in warm, moist environments such as swimming pools, changing rooms and bathrooms.

Verrucas can be stubborn and I don’t always guarantee that they will go once treated. But I have a number of options to try!
This lady had the hard layer removed with a scalpel to allow the treatment to pe*****te through. Get in touch if this is something you struggle with!
