Before the Easter weekend, our After School Club children took part in a fun-filled Easter egg hunt 🐣🍫

Lots of laughter, teamwork and a few very good egg hunters! A lovely way to celebrate together 🐇

Our HAF Easter Club kept busy on Tuesday with a full day of fun activities 🎨🧱✨

From Lego building to arts & crafts, and even some magical moments with magician activities; there was something for everyone!

We loved hosting our very first Coffee Afternoon on Tuesday 31st March ☕

Our After School Club children took the lead – planning, organising and running the whole event, and we couldn’t be prouder of them 👏

A big well done to our winners:
🐻 Kobi, who correctly guessed the bear’s name – Jax!
🍬 Geri, who came closest in “guess the sweets in the jar” with 101 (the actual number was 122!)

Together, the children raised £14.50 from the activities; amazing teamwork and effort from everyone involved!

A special thank you to Asda for kindly donating Easter goodies for our families 🙏🏼

Our Tuesday Trauma Group offers a safe, supportive space led by trained and qualified counsellors. These sessions are designed to bring together individuals who have experienced trauma within relationships, helping to rebuild a sense of self, safety, and understanding.

Together, we explore the impact of trauma, share experiences, and focus on recognising and building healthy relationships in a confidential and understanding environment.

An insight into our Choices4Children taster day a couple of weeks ago 📸✨

It was such a lovely afternoon welcoming families, meeting the children and giving everyone a little taste of what our after school club has to offer — from fun activities to a safe, supportive space to learn, play and grow 💛

The children got stuck into crafts, made some wonderful creations, enjoyed singing and dancing together, and even had time to focus on homework too… a perfect balance of fun and productivity! 🎨🎶📚

A big thank you to Asda for kindly providing drinks and snacks for the session; it was greatly appreciated by us all! 🥤🍪

The aim is to deliver a wraparound service providing support, signposting and counselling for better mental health and positive futures for the whole community.
