Unioni a Iachau/Integrative Health

Creative Kinesiology is a body tracking method which helps to explore any symptoms arising in the body. It can help to identify and release root causes and/or any underlying issues which manifest as aches and pains, illnesses, allergies, anxiety, depression, depletion or low energy. It can also help release any thoughts/behavioural patterns which are impacting negatively on your health and wellbeing. Over the last ten years I have received training in various therapeutic bodywork and energy healing modalities including Creative Kinesiology, Shiatsu, Shin Tai, Reiki and yoga. I’ve also received training in Beauty Way Medicine Wheel teachings from the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas tradition.I utterly love this work and weave these threads of wisdom and knowledge when working alongside individuals on their way towards optimal health. Mewn sesiwn fe fyddwn yn siarad hefo’r corff er mwyn darganfod a rhyddhau unrhye symptomau sy’n codi. Creative Kinesiology was established by Carrie Jost in 1989 in order to train the practitioners of the future. Her understanding that all of our experiences – physical, emotional or spiritual- can be held in our physical self, formed the basis of her work. This led to Creative Kinesiology’s key approach of helping to witness and release stress, anxiety and trauma that may be held at the body level. What to expect from a session:

The session begins by talking about whatever is arising for you at this time: any specific issues, a sense of ‘stuckness’ or being out of balance; low energy, a particular symptom or following an illness. Guided by your body wisdom we discover a focus and best hope for the session, and from there we track the story of the imbalance and find the appropriate healing tools and techniques to support your system back towards balance and health. The techniques used during a session may include:
• Physical work: I have trained in Shiatsu bodywork and use gentle but potent palpation, palming and acupressure techniques when working with the body to realign, integrate and bring balance back to the body.
• Energy balance: working through the framework of 5 Element Theory to balance the meridians, subtle bodies and chakras; restoring the hormonal and central nervous system to balance.
• Working with emotional and mental blocks: using various techniques to identify, witness, release, and transform limiting, self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviours. Creative Kinesiology can help identify and work with fears, phobias, traumas, limiting beliefs which may still controlling our story and sabotaging our lives. Past experiences can impact our lives enormously, and with muscle testing we can gently uncover conscious or unconscious barriers/ issues which are preventing us from moving forward or truly living our lives.

• Nutritional and biochemical tracking: Stress in the body may be presented in the form of sensitivity to foods, nutritional deficiencies, allergies, auto-immune issues, self-sabotaging dietary habits. Through tracking and muscle-testing we can identify what will help support the body, exploring any need for eliminating certain foods for a short while or supplementing with good quality nutrition. Length of sessions:

Initial sessions are 90 minutes with follow up sessions usually lasting an hour. How often should I come? Many like to come for regular sessions over longer periods of time, as it gives them the time to work with long standing issues, or to go deeper into something in particular. Some choose to have a few sessions to help them through a transition, times of illness, stress or life changes. Many clients feel its beneficial to come for occasional sessions very few months to maintain optimal health and wellbeing. I would recommend an initial block of three sessions to allow time to sense and integrate any changes in your sense of wellbeing and for it to be felt in your life.

What happens in a Creative Kinesiology session?
You start with an initial consultation, where your practitioner will take your case history and you can share your story. This could be anything, such as:
** an actual physical problem
** your feelings about a past event
** an inherited issue
** a stress-related situation at work or home

Your practitioner will help you talk to your body so you can find out the best way to restore balance and feel better.
This may be bodywork, energy balancing, looking at making changes to your diet, or your environment, simple exercises to do at home. Gentle non-invasive healing techniques are used within the session to release stress.

Typically sessions last between 1 to 1½ hours - the length of session depends on the individual practitioner.

Dwi wrth fy modd yn gweithio 'fo plant a phobl ifanc, yn aml mae nhw'n deall y dull yma ac yn rhyfeddu wrth weld a theimlo'r corff yn siarad hefo nhw. Daw nhw draw yn aml hefo rhiant, a hefo'n gilydd 'da ni'n darganfod y stori a beth all hwyluso'r ffordd orau ymlaen.

I really love working with children and young people, they often 'get' this method and are amazed as they experience their body talking to them. They often come over with a parent, and together we discover the story and what can faciliatate the best way forward for them.

What is muscle-testing?
Muscle-testing is a wonderful, gentle and non-invasive tool used by kinesiologists in order to discover the story behind your symptoms. Feedback from the body’s muscles gives a picture of what is happening in the energy systems. In a session we look at how your energy is running and what is imbalancing your energy system and causing your symptoms.

This could be anything ranging from an actual physical problem, something nutritional (eg an intolerance), an environmental influence, your feelings about a past event, to an ancestral inheritance or a spiritual issue. Once we have found the story behind the symptoms, we can go on to find out what is the best thing to do so that you can feel better, whether that be some bodywork, changing diet, energy balancing or a myriad of other gentle and non-invasive techniques and treatments used in CK sessions.

Why choose kinesiology as part of your well-being strategy?

Kinesiology is a unique therapy that involves you in every step of your session, using feedback from your body to gain a greater understanding of what affects you and what can be done to support your well-being.

Every kinesiology session is as unique as you are.

What to expect from your kinesiology appointment

If it’s your first kinesiology appointment then you might be wondering what actually happens in the session itself. I usually allow 1 hour and 15mins for your first appointment, it will be 1 hour roughly there after.

I like to get some info from you when you come in, to find out what’s going on, what you are wanting to achieve or rectify.

We then get you settled on the table and use your arm to muscle monitor and this is how the magic happens. I read your muscle (which indicates a yes or no answer) and we figure out what is going on in the body and what we can do, to try and change the energy, to enable the healing/ change to happen in the body.

This can be done via a number of ways, I use many different tools to help the body, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I use, energy work, tapping, tuning forks, working with the chakras, acupressure points, essential oils, affirmations, oracle cards, just to name a few.

Kinesiology can look for nutritional deficiencies, emotional or mental upheaval or disruptions to the body. Physical ailments. It can help with anxiety, worry, stress. It can help with pain in the body or a multitude of symptoms that can’t be explained.

Kinesiology literally looks within the body, to see exactly what is going on and sometimes we don’t actually know what that is. We can feel and experience the pain/ symptoms and you may think it’s one thing, but your body can actually be telling you something completely different. This is why kinesiology is so incredible.

I approached Llio as I seemed to have “ lost my way in life “ due to various stresses which had taken their toll on me both physically and mentally.

I had never heard of Kinesiology but a friend of mine had been to Llio and encouraged me to go. And I am so glad I did. I shared all my woes with Llio, things that I felt that had “knocked me off kilter”. These included day to day stresses, juggling family and working full time, stress at work and family bereavement.

Llio acknowledged all of these issues which immediately made me feel at ease. Llio applied her techniques which at first seemed “a little different and weird” bearing in mind this was unfamiliar territory to me. However, as the session progressed, I felt relief and more and more relaxed. I was more confident in my affirmations.

I had 3 sessions with Llio and following each session, I have been able to “move on” from issues that were troubling me. I am more focused and dealing with issues better which makes me happier and as a result, stronger.

Llio is a beautiful person and has a very calming effect on you. I’m all for trying new and different methods to tackle stresses and strains of life rather than jumping on the medication bandwagon.

I highly recommend an appointment with Llio for any issue that is making your life an unhappy or uncomfortable one.

We can all get bloated from time to time but if you are feeling bloated often then it could be a sign that something is out of balance.

Within Systematic Kinesiology we look at the whole person using the unique MCPE approach looking the mental, chemical, physical and energetical realms, which make SK truly holistic.

Here are a few potential culprits for bloating:

🍞Food sensitivities: Even if you're not allergic, certain foods might not agree with your system, disrupting digestion.
😩Eating when stressed: Eating too quickly and under stress can hinder digestion. Taking a moment to slow down and savor your food can help kickstart your stomach enzymes.
🧫 Parasites: While everyone has some level of bacteria in their gut, certain parasites can lead to unpleasant symptoms.
💧Stomach acid: Without enough HCL, your body struggles to break down food properly, possibly leading to heartburn or reflux.
🍄Candida overgrowth: Bloating is a common symptom of candida overgrowth. Finding the right digestive aid can aid in breaking down food in the gut and alleviating symptoms
🔄 Hormone imbalances: Fluctuations in hormones like progesterone and oestrogen can contribute to bloating. Regular kinesiology sessions may offer support during menstruation or menopause.
