Exciting News: Our venue is now heated by a Sustainable Biomass System!
The wait is finally over! We are thrilled to announce that our new, eco-friendly biomass heating system is now fully operational. This marks the end of a long journey, from the initial planning application through the building process, and we couldn't be more delighted to offer you a sustainably heated and comfortable retreat environment.
This significant milestone was made even more special by the lighting of the system using a flame from the Peace Flame. We extend our sincere gratitude to John Jones, Lalita Doerstel, and Gillian Beeson for their dedicated management of this project over the past three years. Their tireless efforts were instrumental in bringing this vision to fruition. We also wish to thank our generous supporters, whose belief in our mission enabled us to make this important investment in our venue and the environment.
