Here’s what to expect of common infections doing their rounds in the community at present.

Antibiotics don’t work for common viral illnesses such as coughs, cold, earache and mild sore throat. Visit https://111.wales.nhs.uk for advice on there common viral infections and how to manage them.

It's extremely busy at the Surgery this week between the lead up to Christmas and a surprising increase in viruses and respiratory infections, and staff sickness.

The Reception and Dispensary are under enormous pressure. Please be kind and patient to our staff who are doing their utmost to help all of our patients who are calling in wanting advice, help, medication and appointments.

When arriving for appointments please remember to report to the reception desk as soon as possible.

We thank you for understanding and patience while we try our best to deal with the demands of our patients.
