Treated the lovely Humphrey again this afternoon. It's quite incredible the progress that he's made from his first session. This is a testament to his lovely owner sticking to the exercises l've prescribed.
If you would like to know more about Humphrey and his physio journey or if you'd simply like to know more about veterinary physiotherapy get in touch or check out the website

We've recently joined the Beverley Referral Business Network which is held The Ferguson Fawsitt.

Only our 2nd visit and we've already been given two referrals and setup 3 meetings.

Really friendly bunch and all keen to grow each other's businesses. Brekkie is pretty good too!!

Thanks to Westwood Veterinary Physiotherapy for your presentation. Sorry about the picture quality 🤪

NUTRIBALONEY

"You can't feed sugar beet; it's awful for horses
Alfalfa is bad
Soya is inflammatory
Molasses is sugar and should be avoided
Carrots are high in sugar and bad
Compound feeds are the devil's work
Straights are too high in starch and are bad
Linseed contains toxins - don't feed
Vitamin and mineral supplements are unnatural and horses don't need them
Salt is very bad - never add it to feed
Salt is very good - feed masses of it!
🥴🥴
Haylage is bad for horses - it's too acidic
Hay is full of spores and should not be fed
Straw is toxic for horses
Grass 'affects' horses badly and you need to dose your grazing horse with syringed minerals to compensate (if you dare to let them graze).
Short overgrazed grass is dangerous"

For goodness sake. What are you meant to feed?

I'm tired of reading all the guff about feeding horses.

Every single statement above is NUTRIBALONEY.
Rubbish. Guff.

Do not believe everything you read.

In fact, don't believe anything you read.... until you've digested it, thought about it, and considered carefully who wrote it and why.

You're welcome 😊
Please share to help combat confusion, stress and... nutribaloney.
