Anxiety isnโ€™t โ€œjust in your head.โ€ Itโ€™s your bodyโ€™s natural alarm system - designed to protect you from danger.
When that alarm starts going off too often, it can leave you feeling tense, tired, and on edge.

Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s happening:
โšก Your brain detects a threat (real or imagined)
๐Ÿ’“ Your body releases stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol
๐Ÿ˜ฐ Your heart races, breathing quickens, and muscles tighten - ready for โ€œfight or flightโ€

Short bursts of anxiety are normal. But if youโ€™re feeling anxious most of the time, your body and mind may be stuck in overdrive.
