I genuinely never thought I'd be writing a post like this, but the time has come for me to hang up my scales and step down as step Slimming World consultant 🥹

After nearly seven years of Groups, sessions, posts, texts, raffles, competitions and pure joy, I really am saying goodbye with the heaviest of hearts and the fondest of farewells 🥰

I cannot thank Slimming World enough for the opportunities I have been given over the years. The role has allowed me to bring my children up, be on the playground, attend every assembly and carol concert, yet have the independence and flexibility to run my own business, learn the skills required for self employment, and simply be a part of somethig so magical. ✨️

But most of all, for me, its been about the people. My amazing colleagues, my peers, my fabulous members (past and present), who've entrusted me to be a part of their weightloss journeys. It truly has been an honour and a privilege.

This is my final week in all my Groups, and I couldn't think of a better way to say goodbye, than with a Taster session and celebrating and crowning our Slimminng World Icons.

All members (past and present), would be very welcome to join us!

Here at Slimming World, we are so proud to be in partnership with Diabetes UK , supporting people living with all types of diabetes and those at risk of type 2 diabetes manage their weight in a way that works for them.

So, I am filled with such a sense of pride having my member Karlie feature in the current edition of Balance Magazine, the official publication for Diabetes UK, and represent Slimming World Beverley Toll Gavel .

Today, I had the absolute honour and privilege of supporting my member Karlie at the Woman of the Year semi finals!

From 13,000 Slimming World Groups, in the UK, Ireland and Cyprus, 42 Group winners were chosen....and Karlie was one of them, with a very impressive 7 stone 2lb loss to date 🥰

Although Karlie didn't make the final three, I couldn't be prouder of her if I tried!

What a wonderful day, and a wonderful celebration of such inspirational women!
