Finally, the Principal Contractor award is presented to the company with the highest average score from HBSG visits throughout the year.

This years winner was Houlton.

This award is presented to the company who’s annual audit score has improved the most from the previous year.

This years winner was Batty Joinery, but unfortunately they could not attend the presentation.

This year we had introduced 2 new awards.

The first of these was the Site Managers Award. This award is presented to a site manager, who’s employer nominated for outstanding health and safety management throughout the year, and going beyond the legal minimums.

This years winner is Thomas Roberts of Houlton. Thomas managed the recently completed Kelvin Hall School project.

Good Morning,

Our annual awards for 2019/20 were held last Wednesday at the offices of PBS Construction.

These awards were due to be presented at our dinner/dance event in May, but this had to be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

Tomorrow night I’m doing the Dalby Forest night run with my good mates from Elite Services. They have set up the Elite Foundation to raise money through events for a different charity each year. This year’s is PAUL for Brain Recovery and this is the first event they have arranged.
