Hi 👋🏼 it’s been a while!
I’ve not posted in some time - I think it’s easy to get wrapped up in Instagram dentistry and worry that your work isn’t perfect. But for some patients, it can be ‘enough’. This lovely lady hadn’t been to the dentist in 25, and was a nervous wreck at her new patient exam! After a few simple fillings, extractions of poor prognosis teeth, and some scaling, she felt able to have airflow, whitening and some composite bonding.

This old amalgam filling needed replacing as it was starting to break down around the edges. We used Venus Pearl composite to try and recreate the tooth’s original form 🦷

This lovely patient had cracked a few old crowns and needed replacements. Gorgeous crown work as always from and bonus pic at the end - a wonderfully thoughtful ‘thank you’ gift 🥰

It was such an honour to help this lovely lady gain confidence with her smile. I have seen her a couple of times since fitting her denture and Cath always greets me like an old friend 🥰 what a beautiful human 💕

The combination of an e.max crown and a Venus Pearl composite restoration with subtle use of tints allowed us to turn back the clock and give this lovely patient a strong and aesthetic result. Happy Friday everyone 🤩

Replacing this lovely lady’s denture and contouring her remaining central incisor allowed us to re-establish a natural, symmetrical smile - she was over the moon 🤩

A couple of comps from a while back - replacing some fillings which were past their best! Trying to focus on anatomy and keeping things looking as natural as possible 🥰

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted so I looked through the archives and found a case which fits with my particular order 😂
A few amalgam replacements for this lovely patient using a combination of Venus Pearl composite with a little help from some tints to try and keep things looking natural!
