Our lovely residents enjoyed a classic chip shop lunch today 🍽️✨

On the menu was delicious fish, sausage, pies, chips, and crispy onion rings – a real treat that brought smiles all around!

Last week at Park House Nursing Home, we were delighted to take part in Nutrition and Hydration Week — and what a fantastic time we had! 🥳

We kicked things off with the Global Tea Party on Wednesday, bringing everyone together over a lovely cup of tea and great conversation ☕️💬

Thursday was our “Thirsty Thursday” celebration, where residents enjoyed a fun Hawaiian-themed afternoon with cocktails, wine, and beers 🍹🌺🍍

We rounded off the week with “Fruity Friday,” treating everyone to delicious fresh fruit salads and refreshing fruit juices 🍓🍊🍉

It’s been wonderful to see so many smiles and to celebrate the importance of good nutrition and hydration in such a fun and engaging way. A big thank you to our amazing staff and residents for making it so special! 💛

What a fantastic week we’ve had here at Park House Nursing Home! 🌟

We kicked things off with lots of smiles and positive energy during Laughter Yoga with Caroline — the room was full of giggles and good vibes! 😄

Next came Pancake Day, and our residents enjoyed plenty of delicious pancakes with a variety of tasty toppings. Safe to say, they went down a treat! 🥞

We also celebrated Chinese New Year in style, sampling some lovely Chinese snacks and learning a little about the traditions — a wonderful cultural experience for everyone. 🧧

To top off an already exciting week, we marked Love Your Pet Day with a very special visit from the adorable Tess, who brought so much joy and many happy cuddles. 🐾❤️

It’s been a week full of laughter, treats, and special moments. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!

🥞 Flipping Fantastic Morning at Park House! 🥞

What a wonderful start to the day at Park House! This morning, our residents and staff had so much fun flipping pancakes together — and let’s just say, we’ve got some real pancake pros in the house! 👏✨

There were smiles all around as everyone took a turn at the pan, showing off their flipping skills (with only a few playful “oops” moments 😉).

Moments like these remind us how much joy simple activities can bring when we share them together. 💛

❤️ Valentine’s Day at Park House ❤️

We had a truly wonderful day celebrating Valentine’s Day here at Park House!

Our morning began with a lovely flower arranging session, filling the home with beautiful blooms and even brighter smiles. We were also delighted to welcome Robert Lane, who entertained everyone with fantastic live songs — it was so special to see residents singing along and enjoying the music.

In the afternoon, we hosted a delightful tea party complete with lots of delicious cakes and sweet treats. The laughter and conversation made it such a memorable occasion.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special. It was lovely to see so many people come together to celebrate. 💐🍰🎶

💘 Valentine’s Day at Our Home – You’re Invited! 💘

Just a little reminder to our lovely family and friends about what’s coming up this Friday 13th February 🥰

✨ 11.00am – We’ll be kicking things off with Robert Lane entertaining us with his singing 🎶
☕🍰 2.00pm – Cakes, biscuits, drinks and lots of fun to be had
❤️ Everyone is welcome, so please pop in if you can

🎟️ Valentine’s Day Raffle 🎟️
We’ll also be running our Valentine’s raffle on the day
💷 £1 a strip
Some gorgeous prizes up for grabs, so don’t forget to get your tickets!

A few lovely photos from our Christmas Day 🎅🎄
Our residents enjoyed a special visit from Santa an his helper, received lots of lovely gifts, and shared a wonderful Christmas dinner together. There were crackers pulled, plenty of smiles, and everyone enjoyed a glass of wine or beer to celebrate. A truly warm and festive time filled with joy and good company ❤️

What a wonderful time we had celebrating Christmas with our residents! 🎅🎁
We were treated to fantastic live music from Matt Clay, enjoyed lots of fun party games, and indulged in delicious food – with the chocolate fountain being a firm favourite! 🍫😍

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and festive cheer all round. Everyone truly had a fabulous time, making some lovely Christmas memories together. ❤️

🎄✨ It’s not long now until our Residents Christmas Party! ✨🎄

We’re very excited to be welcoming the wonderful Matt Clay, who will be entertaining us with fantastic music and festive fun. 🎶🎤

There will be lots of lovely treats and drinks to enjoy, and everyone is very welcome to come along and celebrate with us.
