With over 16 years experience in the field, having attained a Masters degree in Audiology in 2008, I have over 7 years experience of ear wax removal, after training with ENT nurses at Aston University in 2017.

With all the recent coverage in the media of ear wax removal and the lack of NHS services, I just want to bring to everyone's attention the importance of having ear wax removal performed by a suitably qualified professional.

Do you really want someone with no background in ears inserting a long metal tube into your ear?

Ear wax should only be removed by one of the following professionals:

🩺 A Doctor (preferably an ENT consultant)
💉 A Nurse (preferably one who has specialised in aural care)
🦻 An Audiologist
👂 An aural care specialist who is working under the direct supervision of any of the above

You should ensure the professional you choose is registered with the relevant governing body (e.g. GMC, NMC, HCPC or RCCP) and they have completed a comprehensive training course.

Ears are extremely easily damaged, and once the damage is done, it may not easily be repaired.

Your hearing is precious - please don't risk it just to save a few pounds!

I'm so excited to be able to offer an additional clinic every fortnight at The Body Junction!

If you're not already familiar with it, The Body Junction is located on the corner of Sutherland Avenue and Terminus Avenue in Collington, Bexhill. It has it's own car park and is right next to Collington train station.

I'll be offering all of my usual services:
