On Friday we were honoured and privileged to arrange and officiate the funeral service of an amazing mum, grandma and great grandmother who added value to not just her family and friends but to her community.

This afternoon we said farewell to a loving and caring father, grandfather and friend to many , a veteran of the navy, a motorbike enthusiast who was a driving instructor. He will be missed by all that knew him.

❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🤍MLC Funerals Ltd would like to thank our very kind friend for crocheting these wonderful lavender scented hearts.
The hearts come in a variety of colours and are intended to be given away in pairs to our customers.
( If required ), the pair of hearts are then shared with one being placed into the coffin of a loved one, whilst an identical heart of the same colour is given to their relative as a keepsake.
These hearts are created with love and are used as a symbol of love.
Those we love don't go away,
They stay beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved, still missed, still very dear.

MLC Funerals Ltd Director Lord Brett McLean has been appointed a Baton bearer as part of the UK Baton of Hope Tour.
Lord Brett Mclean said "It is a great honour and a privilege to be able to partake in the Baton of Hope tour as its a symbol of hope, harmony and goodwill, but it has a more pivotal and important meaning as a symbol of hope, a symbol to aid the prevention of su***de and as a tribute to those who's lives were prematurely taken as a result of not being able to reach out during their dark days.
As the owner of MLC Funeral Directors and Lord Brett McLean Funeral Celebrant I am often reminded about the fragility of life and how important it is to value together death and life "
