Here’s what our fantastic Care Coordinator Kate has to say about being part of the Witham Community Care team! 😍💙
“ I started working for Witham Community Care as a Support Worker almost two years ago. Initially this was only on a part time basis but as I thoroughly enjoyed working for them, I decided to take on a full-time role. Then six months ago, they offered me the role of Care Coordinator.
I have always felt so well supported by Nicole and Laura who are the Directors. They have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge in the care industry, and they never expect their Support Workers to do anything they would not do themselves; they lead by example and they are very hands on. This always impressed our clients!
They provide excellent training, and we all have regular supervision meetings to make sure that we are happy in our roles, plus giving you the opportunity to discuss any skills that you would like to develop, and they also give us feedback to enhance our roles going forward.
Although you work on your own when visiting clients’ homes, Nicole and Laura make you feel that you are a valued part of an extended, wonderful team. Our team of carers are thoughtfully recruited by Nicole and Laura. They consider which clients we would be most suited to in relation to our interests and capabilities, thus enabling us to build valuable relationships with our clients.
I feel that if my family members needed support, I know that I would want Withams to take care of them.”
