Slimming World Kitchen is a firm favourite in our household and always will be. This is the second time we’ve had this fabulous recipe and it’s gorgeous! So flavoursome. Kids love it too, winner winner!

As I sit here and write this, I still can’t quite believe that I’m typing it, but here goes.

It is with absolute heavy heart that I let you all know that I have made the desperately sad decision to step away from Slimming World. As most of you know I’ve had the most horrendous few years in my personal life, world turned upside down and shaken about, you couldn’t make some of it up. These changes have sadly lead me to seek full time employment, which I thankfully now have and love, but that comes at a price 😢

Slimming World for me will always be a place I call home, it’s in my blood. I love it through and through. I adore the company and their culture ❤️ The people I’ve met in the last 5 years will stay with me, the memories, the awards, the achievements, the laughter and the tears too all make this role so worth while and this decision has sadly been taken out of my hands, which breaks my heart.

I cannot thank my INCREDIBLE members enough for their never ending support, their praise and their sheer love and warmth for me as a person, especially the last 2 years when I’ve been going through so much but always put my happy Hannah face on (hopefully throughout) because my members have that affect on me! They’re the BEST! 🤗

My colleagues who now are fierce friends, my tribe, I know I’m soon not going to be in the SW gang but the memories that we’ve made and hopefully will continue to make will hold a special place in my heart, always. You know who you are and I wholeheartedly thank you for everything.

My wonderful Parents who have stuck by me for the last 5 years and been my endless support and childcare!! I couldn’t have done it without them and can never thank them enough.

My last group will be Thursday 21 August at Little Common where I’ll hang up my scales and no doubt cry my eyes out, so tissues will be at the ready in abundance! I’m going to miss everyone enormously 😢

A new chapter awaits for me and my 3 children, I’m going to embrace it in full Hannah style and give the future a wink in the eye and a big Hannah smile. In the words of our wonderful late Founder Margaret,

9 months of working on myself, for me. My usual whys are for my children (my whole life is all for them) but this journey was a journey of discovery about me, not just weight loss but learning to be my true self, I’ve learnt a lot, cried a lot but most of all realised that you’ve got to learn to like yourself for who you are and fall in love with the person that you’re becoming 🩷 November 24 - August 25 xx

Happy 1st Birthday to the AMAZING Slimming World Kitchen! Who knew it could change my life so much ❤️The change in mindset, planning, variation in food, helping me fall in love with Food Optimising all over again and helping me achieve losing 3 stone and so much more that comes in a gorgeous red box!

Race for Life ready!! My t shirt was tight last year and now it’s far too big! Days like these and seeing the progress makes me realise how much this has been worth it! 💪 My health is so much better, energy levels are very much improved and I feel great! Plus, I’ve finally purchased a sports bra too!! 🤣🤣 Thank you and definitely thank you Slimming World Kitchen for changing my mindset in more ways than one! xx

Do you ever just feel stuck, stuck in the same cycle? I’ve felt like that on occasions for years but it’s only been the last 6 months that I’ve had a mindset shift, which has finally made me realise that I need to look after myself. I’ve eaten myself slim, I’ve never been hungry, I’m eating the most amazing meals (BIG thanks to the Slimming World Kitchen!!) plus I’ve embraced activity 😉 I can finally say that I’m feeling like the person I was always meant to be! With the support of family, friends and of course my Slimming World tribe of beauties, I’m getting there and this time I’m staying a healthy version of myself and not repeating that horrid cycle again.

Me over the decades, 20s, 30s and hello 40s! 🩷 it doesn’t matter what age you are, life begins when you put your big girl pants on and make it happen! 💪 Chapter 42 is great!
