At Earlsfield, we love nothing more than spending time in the garden—listening to the birds singing and chirping away, and watching as squirrels come to visit too. Residents take great care in filling the feeders, ensuring our wonderful wildlife is always looked after. It’s a place where neighbours can sit together, enjoy a friendly chat, and relax with a freshly made coffee and a homemade biscuit. It was a real treat capturing this blue tit today.

Sunshine has brought so much joy to Earlsfield Court this week. A little gardening, gentle walks, flowers bursting into bloom, and plenty of outdoor coffee and chatter have made our days feel extra special.
Being outside in natural light is great for both body and mind, helping improve mood, encourage movement, and give us that lovely sense of calm that only fresh air can bring.

At Earlsfield Court Care Home , we celebrate Easter knowing it’s so much more than chocolate eggs and the Easter bunny. For many of our residents, this season carries deep meaning — a reminder of hope, renewal, and something far greater than all of us.

We’re proud to empower our residents to continue practising their spiritual beliefs in a way that feels authentic and comforting to them. As part of this, we often welcome The Reverend Jonathan Frais and members of the St. Mark’s community, who kindly visit our home to deliver a short service. Their presence brings connection, reflection, and a sense of togetherness that our residents truly value.

Honouring our beliefs — whatever they may be — is an important part of wellbeing.

Easter Egg Hunt at Earlsfield Court Care Home

Today reminded us all that no matter our age, there’s always a child within us waiting to come out and play. Our Easter Egg Hunt brought so much laughter, excitement, and togetherness to the garden.

The sunshine, the fresh air, and the colourful spring flowers made the perfect backdrop for a day filled with smiles. Residents, staff, family, and friends all joined in — a little exercise, a lot of fun, and plenty of friendly competition. After all, when chocolate is involved, everyone is suddenly very motivated.

Moments like these empower movement, spark social connection, and create memories that stay with us. What an amazing day celebrating spring, community, and pure joy.

Today at Earlsfield Court Care Home we celebrated in true springtime style with our very own Easter Parade — complete with the most beautiful bonnets lovingly created by our residents.

With the amazing support of our team, friends, and family members, the parade was full of laughter, smiles, and plenty of prizes. It was a wonderful reminder of how much joy comes from coming together, getting creative, and sharing moments as a community.

Events like this help build confidence, encourage social interaction, and show that it’s never too late to make new friendships and have fun.

Today in Earlsfield Court Care Home , we had the pleasure of welcoming Olivia Piper—and what an amazing performance it was!

Atmosphere was warm and full of energy as residents came together to enjoy the music and join in. It truly was a fantastic afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and great company.

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the PUG"s- Pevensey Ukulele Group to Earlsfield Court Care Home — a much-anticipated visit that certainly didn’t disappoint!!

The room was filled with music, laughter, and plenty of energy as residents enjoyed a wonderful singalong, complete with toe-tapping, clapping, and even a few cheeky dance moves along the way.

It was a fantastic afternoon full of fun, connection, and great entertainment.

A big thank you to the PUGs for bringing such joy to our community — we can’t wait to have you back!

Fish & Chip Fridays are always a hit at Earlsfield Court! 🎉

Visitors are invited to join in the fun, take part in activities, and spend quality time with our residents and team—getting a real feel for life here.

The room was filled with laughter, shared memories, and plenty of happy moments, all enjoyed over a delicious three-course meal and, of course, a cheeky glass of wine. 🍷✨

We love bringing people together and creating days like these!
