Is this your wheelchair? It’s turned up and we don’t know whose it is. If you can tell me where and when it went missing I’m happy to return it to you. We’ve sold several of these so cannot identify the owner.

Thankfully that storm has now passed, the needle almost went off the chart on my barograph, very similar pressure to the storm of 87, I have the chart for that storm too.

The Government are doing a consultation around powered mobility aids and their use. Now is your chance to have your say. We can but try, I personally think the road legal ones should be able to go faster than 8 mph as modern vehicles are much safer. They’re also considering getting rid of a term I really don’t like ‘Invalid Carriage’.

Every job has its challenges but overall I still look forward to going to work each day.
First full day back and we are already extremely busy. Lots of calls about batteries, this cold weather will reduce the distance you can get out of them and it will kill any that are weak. We hold stock of all common sizes so please shout if you need us.

It’s snowing 🌨️

It’s been nice to have time with my partner Jo and the dogs. We are open tomorrow morning only and then back to normal hours Monday. Whilst others are closed leaving customers with no one to turn to we have repaired a puncture, arranged to fix another. Replaced a motor brake, arranged to quote to repair a vandalised scooter, sold 2 scooters, commodes, shower stools, cushions and other daily living aids. We are here for you.

I want to thank our customers for supporting us, it’s truly appreciated. We face stiff competition from the internet sellers and big national retailers but we’re still here. Trust me when I say you’ll not get the level of service we give from any other local mobility company or big chains. We have an amazing team now to bring you great service and prices in 2026. The new Riser Recliner shop is finally open now, we have chairs from £795, adjustable profiling beds from £750. Have a great 2026 and thanks again for your support.

It’s been an amazing year, thank you to all of our customers for your support. We have a really strong team to start the New Year, it takes time to find the right staff and now we have an awesome team. Brandon, Laura, Lynne and Nikki (alphabetical order, they’re all great)
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🎄 and we look forward to serving you in 2026. If you don’t do Christmas enjoy whatever you’re doing and it will soon be over.
