We always reward and appreciate loyalty. Brandon has gone to Heathfield today to deliver a new Envoy 8. In case you hadn’t noticed I thought I’d tell you!

Batteries are not cheap, colder weather will put more strain on your batteries and finish off weaker ones. Please make sure you charge your batteries for a MINIMUM 8 HOURS after each use, even small trips. If possible keep portable scooter batteries indoors out of the cold. Always charge your scooter fully before storing it and if possible charge it every couple of weeks if not using it. If you have a bigger scooter kept outside you can put an old duvet or blankets over the battery location - normally under the seat area to help keep the cold out.
One good thing about the dry sunny days is the amazing sunrise and sunsets we are getting.

*Opinions needed* please read to the end. All of the livery is on the new shop. I’m not sure about the yellow bit on the windows, it can be removed easily to leave the white wording. Our new sales assistant Laura starts 1st December, it’s refreshing to have someone keen, she is already asking about what to learn before she starts.
What do people think about the yellow bits on window? I won’t be offended if you don’t like them 🤣. Honest feedback appreciated.

Anyone that knows me will know how much I love 🐶, I also fly drones. I came across this group and thought I’d join. The stress and emotional costs of a missing pet are so high, social media can help in these cases, information, mobilising people etc. I’m fortunate enough to have 4 drones, 2 mini and 2 largish ones so plenty of flight time and back up if one fails (or I crash it).
You can join as ground searchers too, no need to have a drone.

Another dealer is trying to sell a tandem mobility scooter, advertising it as ideal for ‘shopping, leisure and long and short distance commutes’. DO NOT BUY THIS unless you have a large private estate to use it on, it is illegal to use them on public roads and pavements in 🇬🇧. It’s shocking that they are encouraging people to break the law.

We purchased this scooter to sell on. The batteries have the voltage written on them, battery voltage does not in any way tell you if they’re healthy or not. A proper battery capacity tester costs in excess of £600. I’ve seen people using battery testers like the one in the picture, they really don’t work on mobility batteries, we have tried them against our proper tester. A £19 eBay job will not give the same accurate results as the industry standard ones we use. Don’t be conned by anyone using voltage or one of these machines to say a battery is good or not.
Our testers provide a full print out of the test and we also test the chargers with the same machine.

Finding the right staff is one of the hardest things about my job. I’m lucky to have the staff I have now. We have a new team member joining soon, Laura. Always trust your gut, it was pure chance she mentioned that she would be interested in joining us a couple of weeks ago, the time wasn’t right then but it is now. It’s never easy starting a new job, lots to learn but if you put the effort in this job is extremely rewarding. Only time will tell but I’ve got a feeling our team will be stronger with our new addition. 😊
