At Ashridge Court we feel we have created one of the most prestigious care homes in the South East. Whether you are a resident, a friend or a relative, everybody is given a great reception and we hope you will agree that we have created the best possible environment for our residents to enjoy life to the full. We have been awarded the highest CQC (Care Quality Commission) rating of 3 Stars, meaning excellent.

Residents placed their bets on their favourite Horses during our Grand National celebrations! 🐎🎉

We had a fantastic time watching the race together, with plenty of excitement and friendly competition. To make the occasion even more enjoyable, everyone tucked into a delicious spread of cheese, crackers, fresh vegetables, and dips 🧀🥕

A wonderful day full of fun, laughter, and great company!

Our residents had a wonderful time during their yoga session with Tracy 🧘‍♀️✨
The session focused on gentle breathing, meditation, and sun salutations, all while listening to calming music in the background 🎶
It was a peaceful and uplifting experience, reminding us all that taking time to look after ourselves is truly the best kind of care 💚

🌸🐣 Easter Celebrations at Our Care Home this week 🐣🌸

What a wonderful week we had celebrating Easter with our lovely residents! 💛
The days were filled with Easter traditions, fun games, and a special visit from guests and friends who brought along lots of delicious chocolate treats 🍫🎁

We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch of roast lamb with mint sauce, which went down a treat! 🍽️
Some of our residents also took part in a lovely Easter service with our local reverend, making the day even more meaningful ✝️

To finish, we all came together for a fun-filled Easter sing-along with the brilliant comedy duo The Singing Sensations – The Uplifters 🎶😄 – bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping moments!

🎶✨ We were delighted to welcome a new entertainer to Ashridge – the wonderful Natty Bee ! ✨🎶Natty treated our residents to a fantastic selection of songs from the 60s and 70s, bringing back so many happy memories. 💃🕺

There was plenty of singing along, dancing, and smiles all around as familiar favourites filled the room. It was truly lovely to see everyone enjoying the music and each other’s company. ❤️

Thank you, Natty Bee, for such a joyful and uplifting performance – we can’t wait to have you back again! 🎤🎵

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day at Ashridge 🍀

We had a fantastic time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day here at Ashridge! The day was filled with fun and laughter, including quizzes, bingo, games, and even some delicious Irish-inspired cooking. 🇮🇪

A big highlight was the wonderful entertainment from Adam, who had everyone smiling with his lively violin and bodhrán drum, playing traditional Irish jigs that got toes tapping! 🎻🥁

To top it all off, our very own Irish lady Bridget’s grandson brought the party to life as our DJ, keeping the celebrations going with great music and atmosphere! 🎶
Thank you to everyone who joined in and made it such a special day! 🍀💚

Our residents celebrated the arrival of spring with some very special visitors 🐑🐥
Adorable lambs and chirpy chicks came to visit the home, bringing lots of smiles and laughter. Jackie and Jenny had the lovely experience of bottle-feeding the lambs their milk, while other residents enjoyed holding and cuddling the fluffy little chicks.

🍬 Sweets and Treats Visit 🍬

Sweets and Treats visited our care home today. Residents, staff, and visitors enjoyed choosing from a selection of old-time favourites and new tasty sweets. A lovely treat for everyone! 🍭

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿The home was beautifully decorated with daffodils and Welsh flags as we came together to honour the patron saint of Wales, Saint David. Residents enjoyed listening to traditional Welsh music, sharing stories about Wales, and even learning a few Welsh phrases — “Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!” (Happy St David’s Day!). 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It’s always so special to celebrate different cultures and traditions together, creating joyful memories and bringing everyone closer as a community.
