First dementia singing session of the year- we kicked off the year with lots of singing, smiling and toe-tapping! Yesterday we were all shook up as we celebrated Elvis Presley's birthday with our residents. From toe-tapping tunes to sweet memories, Elvis' music brought smiles, laughter and a whole lot of rhythm to our day, not to mention a very interesting quiz all about the King of Rock n Roll!! ❤🤩🎤🎼🎹

Doris did a great job helping with our Christmas cake for the Southcare Homes Group competition so it was only right that we saved some for her to share when her daughter visited. Doris said I have really enjoyed doing this and rumour has it she used to be very generous with the brandy when she made her own Christmas cake!! 🤣❤🍰
