Orchard House Care Home Orchard House is a Residential and Dementia care home for residents aged 65 and over. We are a East We are a East Sussex County Council preferred provider.

We pride ourselves to provide a warm, safe and a friendly environment for our residents. The aim of our care home is to retain our residents' quality of life. Privacy and choice are high on our priority list, and personal care is tailored to meet individual needs. Home cooked food is a key feature at Orchard House and we offer our residents freshly cooked, nutritious meals. It’s been a week full of simple joys and special moments! Residents have enjoyed peaceful trips to the park to feed the ducks, followed by refreshing seafront walks with family stopping for chips and ice cream, of course! Back at home, the garden has been buzzing with creativity during arts and crafts time, we have had fun on our interactive games table, and thoughtful letter writing. Sunshine, smiles, and plenty of memories made🍦🍟 🦆💚

It’s been a lovely week full of smiles, sunshine, and special moments! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to the beach café for some fresh sea air, delicious treats, and great company 🌊🍰

Throughout the week, we’ve also had plenty of fun back at home, enjoying good books, lots of creative arts and crafts sessions, making our summer board. Also we have had some peaceful time in the garden with family and friends. A few of our residents even got stuck into a bit of gardening, green fingers and happy hearts all around 🎨🦋🐚🌞

There’s been plenty of joy blooming here this week!
Residents have been soaking up the sunshine in the garden, keeping active with daily exercises, and getting creative with some beautiful arts and crafts.
For those relaxing in bed, our electric activity table has been a big hit! Bringing games, music and smiles right to their fingertips.
We’ve also enjoyed some lovely outings, making memories and enjoying a change of scenery together.
Every day is filled with purpose, connection, and a little bit of fun! ☀️🏡👩🏻‍🌾🎨🖌️🌼

Our residents have had a wonderful week full of creativity, care, and activity! 🎨💅🌱

From arts and crafts sessions to relaxing nail care, everyone’s been enjoying a bit of pampering and self-expression. Our garden is also bursting to life as residents nurture flowers and plants they've grown themselves 🌼🪴

Also enjoying day trips out with friends, for coffee and cake with beautiful views.

Staying fit and active is just as important—our exercise sessions are full of energy and smile.

And also a massive thank you to all the carers and staff for making our home an amazing place to be ❤️

Happy Birthday to the lovely Mavis!

We celebrated Mavis’s special day with cake, laughter, and lots of love from all of us at Orchard House. It was a joy to see her smiling and surrounded by friends 💐💛🎂
