We’ve enjoyed some relaxing manicures, lots of fun with bean bag noughts and crosses, plenty of laughs during balloon volleyball 🎈 and some creative moments making birthday cards 🎂

We’ve had a really lovely time welcoming the New Year together ✨
Last week was filled with meaningful moments as everyone enjoyed writing their New Year’s resolutions, taking part in a calming sensory gratitude session, and getting creative with some colourful bunting making.
We also throughly enjoyed watching the fireworks, sharing smiles, and reflecting on the year ahead ✨

St Nectans Christmas party 2025 was just magical✨Seeing so many smiles, hearing the laughter, and sharing such special moments together reminded us exactly what this season is all about. ✨ Festive Fun at St Nectans!✨
We’ve been getting into the Christmas spirit with lots of creativity, laughter, and togetherness. From decorating the home with beautiful trees and handmade crafts to enjoying colouring, card-making, party hats, and a little pampering — our residents have been having a wonderful time. 🎄

It’s lovely to see everyone smiling, creating, and celebrating the season in their own special way. Here’s to more festive joy as Christmas draws closer! 🎅🎁✨

🎄It’s nearly Christmas party time here at St Nectans!🎄
We are so excited to invite all our families and friends to come and join us on Saturday 13th December , 2pm-5pm , for an afternoon jam packed with festive fun, live entertainment, your favourite Christmas treats and of course plenty of Christmas cheer!
As part of the celebrations, we will be holding our raffle and tombola, and we would be incredibly grateful for any donations to help make them extra special!
If you would like to donate, please drop items into the home or hand them to a member of staff on your next visit.

Raffle tickets will be available to buy at the home for £1 a strip or 20p a ticket, these will be available starting next week & on the day!

Spreading festive cheer for a cause close to our hearts 💚 Alzheimer’s society’s elf day Wednesday 3rd December ! Help us celebrate and raise awareness here at St Nectans 💚

At Alzheimer’s Society they are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research. Elf day is a day to spread Christmas joy whilst raising awareness and funds for such an important cause !

Heyyy St Nectans family! This is just a little post to introduce myself to you all. My name is Charley and i am delighted to have joined the team here at St Nectans as the new actvities coordinator!
I have previously worked in both care and activities before and am so excited to begin this new journey with you all! My goal is to make everyday that bit brighter for everyone , to bring endless laughter , creativity and of course make some amazing memories together!
I cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you, hear your ideas, show you what we are getting up to and fill our days with things that make us smile 😁
So here’s to new adventures, plenty of giggles and lots of colourful, creative moments ahead!
