I always aim to be therapeutic in my treatments so you can feel relief in your muscles which translates into relaxation in your brain 😎

What I'm learning recently, is that for some people its not always noticeable in your body straight away.

It might take a few sessions to feel a difference, but *often* times it happens right away.

We're all different, sometimes it takes some trust in your therapist too 💚

The neck & upper back can cause tension in the jaw from bad posture & misalignment.

Jaw tension can also arise from overuse, a trauma or teeth grinding & jaw clenching often caused by stress and anxiety.

Lastly, the jaw and hips are connected by connective tissue called fascia.

Releasing tension in the hips can help soften the jaw tension and vice versa.

This deep front line fascia also passes through the diaphragm which can cause shallow breathing.

✨️ Deep diaphragm breathing (breathing deeply into the abdomen then filling the lungs) can help with releasing tension within this fascial line.
