Located in our reception area, it’s become a lovely spot for a warm welcome, a quiet moment, or a shared chat.

In a care home setting, a simple cup of coffee or tea can offer more than just refreshment — it creates a comforting daily ritual that brings familiarity, gentle stimulation, social connection, and a lift in mood for everyone.

💛 Jill Wohlgemut and her daughter spent a peaceful afternoon together, enjoying some quiet time side by side.

They laughed softly and reminisced while watching the nearby fish tank where the bright colors and gentle movements were calming, offering a cheerful moment to share.

Jill even gave names to two of the fish, Flash and Sunny, both brought plenty of smiles! 🐠✨

Kicking Off International Housekeeping Appreciation Week! 🧹✨

As we begin International Housekeeping Appreciation Week, Bernard got into the spirit a little early.
A few months ago, Bernard enjoyed a trip to Matalan, conveniently located across from a pub in the town centre. It was the perfect spot for him as he loves browsing for new clothes, and he always looked forward to treating himself to a drink after his shopping was done. “If I haven’t finished shopping, I leave town with nothing!” he joked.

Today, spotting his shopping bag peeking out of the cupboard gave Bernard the motivation to clear out some clutter, refresh his space, and lift his mood. He told us that these kinds of daily routines were a regular part of his life a few years ago and getting back into them brings him real happiness. 💛

Pamper Sessions at The Hairdresser’s 💇‍♀️💅💇‍♂️

Several of our residents enjoyed a well-deserved pamper in the salon today, and what a lovely treat it was! ✨

Gerald was especially delighted with his fresh haircut, thanking Kayley for her gentle touch and giving him a stylish new 60’s-inspired look! 😎✂️

Joan, Margaret, and many others were also treated with care and attention, leaving the salon feeling refreshed, relaxed, and glowing with happiness. 🌸

Beyond the beauty treatments, these sessions provided some lovely social time too with a chance to chat, laugh, and enjoy the soothing comfort that comes with being looked after.

There’s nothing quite like a good pamper to lift the spirits! 💕
