The classical-themed evening proved to be a delightful event ✨️

Residents, along with friends of the home, were thoroughly engaged by Harry Kersley's performance, the musical talent of whom was truly captivating. His vocal delivery elicited a significant emotional response from the audience with each note 🎶 An outstanding performance, thank you Harry ✨️

Thank you to all the team for making this evening possible, especially the Kitchen Team who made such delicious canapés and the Bistro Team for their waitress service on the night ✨️

How we spent our Summer...Part One

We started our Summer off very nicely with our annual Summer Fayre, were we where truly blessed with the lovely warm weather ☀️

It was so nice to see so many of our residents along with their families all together to listen to the fantastic music from Young and Wise then followed by Sonny & the Harp
We also had a wide variety of stall holders on the day, which was a really nice feel for the local community to have the opportunity to showcase their products.
On top of this we also had the amazing Chef Mark doing what he does best on the BBQ and our bar bistro team serving drinks to all 🍔🍟🍾🍹

All money raised on this event went to a fantastic charity - Age UK Bexley

We would like to thank every member of our team who helped make this day possible for our residents, relatives and community to enjoy this day 🙏💖 and a special thank you to the super talented Hannah Han Marie Photography who managed to capture every moment of the day in photos and to each and every person who attended this event 😊

Residents enjoyed a lovely day at Polhill Garden Centre 🌸

We spent lots of time walking around and looking at all the wonderful plants they have 🌼 before deciding on what plants to bring back to the home and plant in the garden.

After this, we stopped off for some refreshments before conquering the shopping side of the garden centre 👕
We looked at clothes, shoes, food and so much more.

The recent warm weather has provided opportunities for outdoor activities, including picnics in the park 🧺

These outings, which include enjoying lunch and the surrounding scenery, have significantly enhanced the well-being of our residents.
These moments of community engagement and shared experiences contribute to a sense of normalcy which is amazing to be apart of and make happen for our residents ☀️
