I am so excited to announce that my beautiful friend will be joining us for our charity event on the 23rd Nov 7pm with some amazing cacao at the end of our 90mins yoga class

We will be spending some nice time together doing everything the heart needs.. 🫀❤️

Topping it off with socialising and joining together to drink tasty cacao (vegan of course) and enjoying each others company 💕

I am so excited to announce that I will be hosting a charity event for the at the mind and body studio for my 30 year anniversary of my last open heart surgery ❤️‍🩹

No one walks in your shoes, no one knows how you really feel unless you share it with others..

Sharing your tough times and therefore promoting better mental health is a strength and shows a lot of courage.

Take the time to listen to someone else’s worries to not feel so alone.

Be open and genuine.

Have compassion for others and yourself.

I think it’s time for us to shift our thinking of mental health to a much more encouraging and positive one.

Mental health is wealth!

Yoga can help you stay present in the moment and can help you cope with thoughts arising and dealing with feelings in a more calm manner. It promotes better body-mind connection and calms your nervous system down ✨🗣️🫂🙏🧘‍♀️

Almost all of the times my practice does not look like this.. I am usually finding my yoga spot in between my daughters massive play pen and the coffee table in the living room looking like I just woke up 👀😂

Let’s be real… yoga is not about how it looks it’s about how it makes you feel 🙏

But do we really read the small print or do we just scroll to see and like pictures? 🫣

Sometimes you don’t know why you are drawn to something but it will all eventually make sense…

I was drawn to study yoga and listened to my inner voice, now I love teaching yoga and love expanding my knowledge and horizon by studying to become a yoga therapist 📚🙈

Finding balance is never easy… I don’t just mean balance in our asanas, I mean the balance in our breath, mind and daily life 🧘‍♀️

Round #2 of yoga therapy training is starting tomorrow.. there is a lot of planning, help and time management involved as well as trying to look after my own balance 👀😮‍💨

Luckily a week in paradise hiking, swimming and quad biking helped a little 🏖️🥾🏊‍♀️🗻
