30th Birthday party for the fabulous Charlotte. I was asked to do readings at this wonderful event. Seriously. I cannot describe how amazing it was. A little hideaway at the bottom of the garden specifically for giving readings. Loved every minute. And the fabulous food made by Susan Allan!

Sometimes things happen. They are not planned. They are not expected.
Yesterday for a few different reasons I was feeling low. Sad. But life is like that and we just go with it.

I went to visit my friend at Calmer Heart Lesley, and Ant was there.
Ant and I have met a few times. Mainly in passing. He comes across as a warm gentile guy who gives proper hugs!

Out of the blue he gifted me this amazing drum! Not only is it a drum, it was HIS OWN drum. AND the blanket to keep it safe!
The drum is made of oak and horse. It had the most tactile feel. Felt like it belonged in my hands.

I have never used a drum before. But last night I banged it a few times. The sound it produced was calming, soothing, and I was surprised by how it changed my mood into a relaxed state.

I cannot thank Ant enough for bestowing such a wonderful meaningful gift on me. I will treasure it. Thank you Ant ###
