The Christmas bingo on Friday night at Launton social club was a resounding success, and a fun time was had by all. There were lots of wonderful prizes donated for the bingo, a boozy basket and a raffle. Lots of fun and laughter was had by all and the money raised will go towards events and trips out for the residents on our nursing wing.

A big thank you to all those that came to support this cause and to all the companies that donated some truly fantastic prizes.

WEEKEND COOK/KITCHEN ASSISTANT required for maternity cover.

Duties will include:
Assisting our cooks, preparing vegetables, salads and desserts and also being responsible for cooking a light evening meal.

Hours:
Saturday 8am – 5.30pm
Sunday 8am – 2pm

Experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but full training would be provided to the right candidate.

A DBS is required for this position.

A fantastic night was had by all last Friday, when our nursing wing held their Christmas bingo and raffle.

We would like to thank everyone who donated a prize, there was lots of lovely prizes, and also we would like to thank everyone who came along to support us and help raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.
