Hi everyone,

I have a bit of a random question, with no judgement at all. Are any of you currently using or considering taking the weight loss jabs? Most of you already know, these medications have taken the world by storm and are really benefiting many people. As I’ve mentioned before, I believe everyone should find what works best for them. Hola 👋🏻

It’s been a while since I last posted here, and to be honest, I’d lost my drive, focus, and generally felt pretty crappy about myself! I’d constantly ask myself, “How can I help or advise people to lose weight when I was growing bigger and bigger every day?” 😩

When life got back to normal after lockdown, I’m ashamed to say that I gained 6 stone over 4 years! I’d make excuses for myself like, “I have PMDD, adenomyosis, anxiety, my dad’s ill, I’ve had a hysterectomy, I’m in menopause.” The excuses went on and on. I was literally kidding myself because the truth was, I just wasn’t happy and used food as a coping mechanism! 😩

Following on from my “Life Update” the other day, I decided at the beginning of this year to cut the crap, stop making excuses, and take back control of my weight, health, and life! So, here I am, nearly 4 stone down and feeling fantastic!

The main thing I’ve done is to try not to be too hard on myself. I’m my own worst critic! I’ve mainly been doing Step 3-4 of The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan which consists of 1-2 1:1 Diet Meal Replacement products a day and then 600-1000 calories of high-protein, balanced food depending on how hungry I feel. Lots of walks with my girls too 🐶. This has really worked for me! 💪🏻

Yes, at times it has been really hard, and I’ve wanted to give up. But actually, the lows are so worth all the highs! I’m sleeping better, brain fog has subsided, energy levels are higher, my knees and hips don’t hurt anymore, and I’m back in my old “new” wardrobe. Most of all, I’m starting to like the reflection in the mirror again! I still have about 2 stone to go and hope to start getting back into running again! I feel like me again, and now I look forward to doing things! I’m ready to enjoy my new life by the seaside with the Crazy Mother Cockers 😎❤️
