New teacher alert 🌶️

I’m really excited to welcome Simi to the Renew Hot Yoga team.

Simi has been practising Bikram yoga for over 15 years and brings such a calm, grounded energy into the room. She has that beautiful balance of strength, warmth and quiet confidence that makes people instantly feel at ease.

What I love most is that her teaching comes from real lived practice. Not performance. Not ego. Just someone who genuinely understands how yoga can support you through life and wants to share that with others.

Rooted in her Indian heritage and deep respect for yoga’s origins, her classes feel authentic, accessible and human. The kind of teacher that reminds you yoga doesn’t need to be intimidating to be powerful.

You can catch Simi teaching Hot26 on Saturday mornings 9am–10am at The Omazing Studio in Weston on the Green and I honestly think you’re all going to love her 🖤

Please give her a warm Renew welcome below 👇

A lot of yoga teachers are curious about touch… but also nervous about it.

And honestly, they should be.

Because touch is powerful.

When done without sensitivity, awareness or understanding it can feel invasive.
But when done well, it can help someone soften, regulate, breathe deeper and feel genuinely supported in their body.

That’s one of the reasons I love Thai Yoga Massage so much.

It teaches you to listen with your hands.
To understand pressure.
To feel resistance.
To work with breath instead of against it.
To understand bodies beyond just shapes and alignment.

This weekend’s workshop is for yoga teachers who want to deepen that understanding.

We’ll be learning practical Thai massage techniques, assisted stretches and ways of working with the body that can be used in savasana, 1:1 sessions, retreats or alongside other healing modalities.

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need to already be “good at touch.”

You just need curiosity.

I genuinely believe learning Thai massage can make yoga teachers more sensitive, aware and confident practitioners whether they choose to incorporate hands-on work into classes or not.

A few spaces left for this weekend ✨

You asked for more Hot 26… so we listened 🙏

Our schedule is growing and we’re so excited to now have THREE Hot 26 classes running every week alongside Warm Yin.

Whether you’re completely new to hot yoga or already obsessed with the practice, these classes are designed to help you build strength, improve mobility, calm the nervous system and reconnect with yourself.

There’s something really special about stepping into the heat, switching off from the outside world and just focusing on your body and breath for a while.

Small classes. Supportive teachers. No pressure to be “good” at yoga. Just space to show up exactly as you are.

NEW SCHEDULE:
🔥 Tuesday 6pm Hot 26 with Adele
🔥 Saturday 9am Hot 26 with Simi
🔥 Sunday 9am Hot 26 with Luka
✨ Monday 7.45pm Warm Yin with Leticia

I love playing with AI. Mostly because every now and then it reflects something back to you that you didn’t fully know how to put into words yourself.

This image genuinely captured something really special about me. Not just “what I do” but why I do it.

The yoga.
The Thai massage.
The calm spaces.
The healing.
The constant studying of the body and nervous system.
The cups of coffee keeping me alive between classes and treatments 😂

But also the deeper bit underneath it all… the part that wants people to feel safe in their body again. To soften. To breathe properly. To feel connected to themselves instead of constantly surviving.

When I first trained in hot yoga years ago I never imagined it would eventually lead me into massage, teaching, retreats, breathwork and creating communities around wellbeing. But looking back now it all makes perfect sense.

Movement led me into stillness.
Teaching led me into touch.
And somewhere along the way this became much more than a job.

It became the thing that drives me. 🙏

It’s coming up… and it’s closer than you think.

If you’ve ever felt like your teaching is missing that deeper connection… this is it.

Thai Yoga Massage for Yoga Teachers
May 16th & 17th | 10:30–5:30pm

This isn’t about hands-on assists.
It’s about understanding the body through touch.

Learning how to:
• Work with energy lines
• Use simple, effective techniques in savasana or 1:1
• Support your students in a way that goes beyond words

You already guide people through movement.
Now you’ll learn how to support them when they’re still.

It builds confidence.
It deepens your understanding.
And it changes the way you teach.

Spots are limited and we’re not far off now.

Message me if you’ve been thinking about it.

April pushed me… and I actually met it.

3,000 pushups for cancer research.
My first 10k (with a buggy).
4.3kg down.
CrossFit PBs.
And cutting 12 years of hair that I didn’t realise I was still holding onto.

That didn’t come from nowhere.

Massive gratitude to .bicester and my coach helping me see that I can go a little heavier… a little further… even when I think I can’t. That quiet encouragement has changed everything about how I train and what I believe I’m capable of.

And honestly… I’m also giving a nod to that Aries 7 planet stellium energy because the drive this month has felt different. Focused. Consistent. A bit relentless in the best of ways.

Not every day felt good. Some felt repetitive. Some felt like a push just to show up. But I kept going… and that’s where it all shifted.

Now I get to slow it down a little 🙌 5 days in Sicily. Movement, space, good people… and actually letting everything land.

Grateful for the push. Grateful for the pause. Looking forward to the rest of the year 😁

These last 5 days of the 100 pushups a day challenge are definitely proving to be the hardest.

I feel tired, and if I’m honest, a bit bored too. That beginner rush has worn off now, and I’ve hit that plateau where it’s not exciting anymore, it’s just about getting it done. Trying to fit it around a sick toddler too which hasn’t been fun. I can see my alignment slipping in places, and I know they’re not my strongest reps, but I’m still pushing through and showing up anyway.

Because this isn’t really about me.

It’s about cancer research, and doing something that might make even the smallest difference. Watching everyone take on the London Marathon on Sunday for their charities really put things into perspective for me. The effort, the commitment, the reason behind it all… it makes a few more pushups feel pretty insignificant.

So I’m getting them done, whether I feel like it or not.

If you can, please donate — the link’s in my bio. Let’s give cancer a proper kick. 💪

One of the most powerful, yet often overlooked, benefits of massage—especially Thai yoga massage—is the impact it has on sleep.

I love receiving feedback like this because I genuinely value how important sleep is. When someone tells me they’ve had the best sleep they’ve had in years after a session, it says everything about how the body responds when it’s given the chance to properly switch off.

Thai yoga massage works deeply with the nervous system through slow, rhythmic pressure, stretching and breath. It helps the body move out of that constant “on” state and into a place where it actually feels safe to relax. And when that happens, sleep naturally improves.

So many people are walking around exhausted, thinking it’s just part of life, but often the body just needs the right kind of support to let go.

If your sleep has been off, or you’re waking up feeling like you haven’t really rested, this might be exactly what your body needs.

I went out to do 5k and ended up doing 10k… pushing a buggy.

That’s something I never thought I’d say.

For the last 3 years I’ve been doing couch to 5k over and over again, struggling with my stamina. My breathing was always all over the place, really loud, and it felt like I was constantly fighting against my own body just to get through a run.

Last November I started CrossFit. I began with one session a week and now I train twice a week, and the difference in my running is huge. I also got some really good advice from a running friend about technique.

Now my breathing feels way more controlled, I’m not in massive pain mid run due to bad technique, I can actually get into a rhythm. Instead of fighting myself, I’m encouraging myself and pushing a little bit further each time.

I’m starting to understand my body so much more, and it’s made such a difference not just to my running, but to how I feel in myself.

If you’re struggling with stamina or your breathing when you exercise, I really recommend trying .bicester
